B.League is one of the more popular destination of our Filipino ballers; Ravena brothers, Greg Slaughter, Jordan Heading, Roosevelt Adams, Matthew Aquino and Kai Sotto to name some. And it has been seen in the past to employ former PBA imports, former NBA and other international players.

Utsonomiya Brex are the defending champions of 2022.

Lets talk Japanese basketball.

An NBL thread in a Philippine forum may become obsolete

I'll miss NBL (I still get confused w/them Melbourne Teams and before Kai I only incorporate NBL with Lamelo-Illawarra then Baynes and his NBA comeback goal)
and kinda feel a little sad also for ADL, the ADL fans support towards Kai feels genuine and solid
(if KAI cannot make his NBA team signing this 2023-2024 season, I'd prefer him to come back to 36ers and be part of their lead)
or maybe, NBL teams can sign more Fil Ballers (Martin, Edu, Panopio, Clark, Millora-Brown, etc.)

The PH All Stars in Japan

PG: Kiefer Ravena/Thirdy Ravena
SG: Dwight Ramos/Jordan Heading
SF: Ray Parks Jr/Matthew Wright
PF: Carl Tamayo/Kobe Paras
C: Kai Sotto/Greg Slaughter

not a bad lineup, could work in one of the windows, SEA Games and the Asian games

browsing the roster of hiroshima dragonfly and the top 3 points leaders are all world imports. a distant scorer is also a world import (stutz). blackshear is the main big man and stutz is the back up. right now they are fourth on the standings. it may take time for kai to learn their system.

This is what I said in the other thread. The world imports are expected to give spacing for their guards. Stutz was only a temp when Mayo got injured. Stutz was just a good rebounder and not much else, so he didnt get much munutes.

Does the Hiroshima team have any national team players on the roster?

With Sotto not available for the February FIBA window, it is most likely that the Sotto 2-month contract with Hiroshima does not have a Gilas clause. Which means Hiroshima is dead serious on prospering in the B.League playsoffs.

to be fair you are coming in late in the season and the team is a contender.. you arent parks or kiefer or thirdy who are with the team for years already, kai is like a new hire fastracking the learning curve of his new team and we see violent reaction from all over fb about it..

Abraham “Denok Miranda” Grahita has officially joined Veltex Shizuoka Bleague Div3.
1st Indo homegrown to play in Bleague.

Basically Kai's B league $200k for 2 months is on condition he is healthy available for every practice and game for the next 2 months.
So essentially the decision is on Kai's camp on what to do for 6th window.
Exception is if injury is due to B league participation.
