B.League (Japan Pro Basketball League)

80% likelihood that Kamaka’s next tour would be B.league. He can play there as world import not as Asian quota player. Yes he is world import level, he won’t be an import of legendary Drazen Petrovic’s team Cibona for nothing. And being a U. Hawaii Warrior alumni and his late dad a Hawaiian- Filipino he must be exposed to Japanese culture which strong in the islands…

Ray isnt even taking more tahn 20 shots in japan, so in pba an 15 point offnight is there because he takes taht many shots but in japan and gilas you see 5 point games from him..
U can't expect Rayray Parks, Jr. to get 20 FG attempts a game in a league where there are 3 world imports per team (some teams even have naturalized players which don't count as imports). Those 3 world imports are going to get the lionshare of fieldgoal attempts. But I think this is the perfect playing environment for Ray2 Parks - that he is not the go-to-guy of his team & instead just plays as a supporting role in offense. Parks isn't a volume shooter. He's not the type na kailangan muna magpainit sa opensa to get his offensive rhythm going.

What I like about Parks is that, he can take a backseat in offense & still be effective in a game. That is why he is a very good national team material becoz he can be content just having limited touches & scoring opportunities. I see him as in the same mold as a Dwight Ramos.

You said it he is the same mold as dweet, he will have difficulty making the lineup because dweet is also playing his role..

Again theyre tired of getting bridesmaid finishes...you didnt notice that its been 2 seasons where they didnt reach the finals even with yuata watanabe around

Just not sure how he gets minutes with John Mooney and Ou Jia-Zun there. I'm also not that familiar with regards to playing imports at the same time... usually 2 world, 1 Asian quota, and 2 locals... because their Jap-Ams like Daniel Kato are sort of considered Asian quota instead of local. So either he splits his minutes with Ou and Kato or comes off the bench behind Mooney.

With Watanabe and 2 world imports, QMB definitely won’t start. But he will be part of regular rotation. 10-15 minutes of playing time is expected…
