Eastern Washington Eagles' 6'8" junior PF Venky Jois (1993) is quietly having a nice season so far. Very effective near the rim.

George Blagojević, 6’8 forward of serbian heritage, has committed to the University of Hartford (NCAA). He is expected to be in contention to make the Australian squad for the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championships in July.

Joe Ingles won't suit up for the Boomers this year but promises to play in Rio.

Australia lost to Lithuania, 80-68. Motum was impressive, going 8-10 and making a trey. Dante Exum looked lost at times and his ankle seems to be bothering him, his first step was slow and shifting dribble was bad and looked amateurish. All six points Exum made the best of it. Also Andrew Bogut exhibited a little rust. David Andersen and Chris Goulding also helped carry the team. Bairstrow and Dellavedova DNP.

Mills will fly in to suit up versus the Tall Blacks.

Boomers squad: David Andersen, Cameron Bairstow, Andrew Bogut, Ryan Broekhoff, Matthew Dellavedova, Adam Gibson, Chris Goulding, Nate Jawai, Damian Martin, Patrick Mills, Brock Motum and Brad Newley.
