Asia vs africa

Asia has some powerful leagues and more money for import players tha Africa, plus better organized NTs. But some African nations have players that develop in the US or Europe, whether African-born or naturalised, and are taller; and thus have better individual talent and better chances of landing their players in Europe. So these things pretty much even each other out.

From that standpoint, Angola's basketball organisation resembles more that of Asian nations that African.

Sure Asian teams have better organizations and stronger leagues (Carmelo Anthony is linked with a Chinese club).
However, most African and Asian teams lack a good and skilled PG. Angola has a short team and Senegal for example has a tall team, but get beaten most of the time they play against Angola. Why ? Because Angola produce much better PG and their players are much more skilled (and of course they have a professional BBAll league unlike the vast majority of African country).
China, has a lot of big men but not enough skilled PG.
Chinese NBA prospects are most often centers and PF,which means that their "detection" policy might have backfired on them
Most European teams are well balanced, and the most successful ones have their own maestro.

well said, same goes to the lebanese nt,as we have good PGs but still we lack big guys, our major problem is on position 5 which makes us switch positions to fill this gap as we did in the worldcup by switching vroman to 5 where he's more 4 than 5,matt to 4 where he's 3 .............................
unfortunately this plan had no success
