Another black eye for the NBA

I'm not trying 2 say the suspensions were comparable with the Pacers-Pistons brawl or the LJ-Zo one.I mean that they were unfair again because Carmelo got a longer suspension than the Knicks' players, just like the Pacers got much longer suspensions than the Pistons back in 2004.So if Carmelo should have 15 games suspension, then Nate Robinson who kept fighting everybody should have had 20 and Collins who started the whole thing should have 20 as well.

The NBA has issued the following suspensions in relation to Saturday night's brawl:

Carmelo Anthony - 15 games
J.R. Smith - 10 games
Nene - 1 game
This indeed is a positive thing: Diawara will get more minutes :D ;)

Hehe an all-round positive thing :D

elaj that fight was weak. I thought the typical "Euro team" always bonded and fought and played as "one" the way I saw it the red team just let one of their guys get gang banged on the court while the others watched...

It went out positive for both Kleiza (10 pts + 6 rebs) and Diawara (8 pts) :D They had much playing time and they could've done way better though.

The Knicks and Nuggets organizations have each been fined $500,000 each as a result of the altercation.

· Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been suspended for 15 games.

· Knicks guard Nate Robinson has been suspended for 10 games.

· Nuggets guard J.R. Smith has been suspended for 10 games.

· Knicks guard Mardy Collins has been suspended for six games.

· Knicks forward Jared Jeffries has been suspended for four games.

· Knicks center Jerome James has been suspended for one game for leaving the bench during an on-court altercation.

· Nuggets forward Nene has been suspended one game for leaving the bench during an on-court altercation.

Disgusted for melo... I just think he take all because he is a star and is more mediatic. But, I think that M Collins have already attacked JR, and he should have taken the biggest suspension. The others should have controled themselves, but his gesture xas really bad minded.

I miss Jeff Van Gundy getting stompped and punched by 7 footers :(

JVG was hit on accident by his own player when he tried to come in and break a lunging punch. this is where I gained respect for JVG as a coach when little him came in between big tall players and did help in trying to stop the fight by distracting the players and putting the attention on him.

If you are talking about the incident I think you are, the player was Marcus Camby trying to punch Danny Ferry, of the Spurs, and JVG's head got in the way.

Good times, good times....
