Anadolu Efes 2022/23

Efes will have issues with Nebo. He's not as good defensively. Maybe can still learn, but he reads defences poorly. Motor and athleticism is incredible, but that's it. I assume no-one will force him to play short roles at which is horrific, so he should be OK playing some p'n'r offensively, but that's all, very limited. Doubt Ataman is the guy who can develop youngsters. We seen how he developed Serbian lad :D

That's right, He buys only complete players . But strange that all players under him advanced. Except Moerman of course who is stupid guy and there is no help for him

All other players are now better then when came to Efes

I cant write down names but a tall point guard who can defend and make some plays. Finding a Micic replacement atm is impossible. Maybe Satoransky but he is in Barca thats to 99% secure and even Sato would only give 50% of what is Micic capable of on offense but Sato is a better defender than Micic. Calathes would be an option profile wise but too expensive. Tylor Dorsey is not a bad defender and he can shoot but low IQ guy. Darrun Hillard would also be a good fit.
 
I expect Ilyasova to sign with Efes or Fenerbahçe this summer. Ataman’s interest and admirance for him are well-known so Efes move is a little more possible to me. He skipped the last season by waiting a contract from NBA teams. I believe he can cover at least 10 minutes in Euroleague for one season. His experience and mentoring are still big assets yet, he is a well known professional, he takes care of himself to keep on playing high-level basketball so his mind and feet are still working coordinately.

Ataman said in an interview, they tried for him this year... but he didn't want to leave his family and States. Ataman said he has no interest to play in Europe.

Since a NBA contract is not possible anymore he could come over without his family and play one season but he is too old. If I was Efes I wouldnt sign him tbh.

Exactly at that time Efes wanted to sign with him, he refused. He didn't want to leave his family even for a short time anyway.

Even thinking about the possible players which could replace him makes me feel sick. He should stay, synergy :)

Nate Wolters. Now with new mvp duo Larkin Clyburn there is no need for Micic copy. Better option is Larkin's back up and Wolters is ideal guy for that. He knows everything what is needed for that role.

They have to replace Beabuois too, he is too old and he sucks on every F4 until now.

If Efes intend to attack three peat then stronger character guy should come. My sugestion is Grigonis.
 
There was rumor about Larkin to Fener, which is almost impossible. But nobody mentioned opposite direction:D

Regarding De Colo is free agent and Micic will leave 99%, Efes could make trio Larkin, De Colo, Clyburn and lock the 3rd title in a row.
