how’s cibona doing? can we see you in euroleague in the next 150 years?
we are still alive. most probably no, we will not be a part of EL for a lot of years to come. but won't use the word never.

Money isn't problem for Efes as you know, but idea and vision about future is for sure the big problem. There are coaches like Obra in Europe. A few years ago they brought one of them but he failed second season because of pressure and impatience from management and owners.

As you see it's not just about money....

Yes, but I do not understand what you are saying.

Are you saying they are on purpose like: "lets not bring in coach like obra" ?
Are you saying they can not identify "coach like obra" ? (but in that case they simply can get advice or even randomly hire one of the most expensive ones as I assume "coaches like obra" are mostly those from the top paid ones)

It is just hard to understand exactly what you mean here :)

Ps: who are coaches like obra? Please name 5 or at least 3.

Why you are persistent on Obra issue? There are more problems in Efes then just coach and I named 4 reasons.
I see you don't understand but I can't help by repeating the same post:D

This was the best part of offseason for Efes, still happy to see them gone.

Why? They (Huertel and Granger) may have their faults but they're still two of the best guards in Europe. Who was this perennially underachieving club going to replace them with? Did you think we were going to replace them with Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook?

We had a team that came within one game of the Final Four, the biggest mistake was to dismantle that instead of being patient and nurturing the talent we had.

There is nothing to elaborate. He wants Fener out of EL and Besiktas and GS in:D

Nah I was always against Turkish, Israeli and some Ex-Soviet countries playing in European competitions. Some are Europe by accident, others are split 5/95, third have a political exemption etc. Culturally they are by far not European I always though they should compete in Asian Competitions. Has nothing to do with Fener actually :D :D :D

It should be super simple for you to answer:

1. Why owner will not bring coach like obra (on purpose "I don't want to bring coach like obra", by not being able to identify who is coach like obra, something else)?
2. Who are coaches like obra?

Super simple questions, but it turns out you don't know what you are talking about by avoiding straight answers.

How very interesting. Would this theory also extend to a country which was ruled by one of the afforementioned ones for hundreds of years and has thus had its culture significantly shaped by it?

With that logic, Norwegian clubs should be playing in English Premier League. :D

Diversity is the greatest characteristic for a group of people, may it be a club, a nation, or a continent. WTF is "European Culture" ?

Is it a culture of the nordic tribes, Scandinavia? Is it the arabic influence in Andalusia, or the Basque or Catalonia? Is it Germanic, Celtic? Is it a culture of italians...the great Roman Empire? Or is it Eastern Roman Empire? Is it the culture of Mycens, Helens, Minoans? Or is it the great civilisation of Mesopotamia, the Hittites, Asyrrians, babylon, Urartu, Phrigia? Are you talking about Macedonians, or is it Etruscan or even Kartagian? Is it Armenian, or the Seldjuks you are talking about? Is it Brits, the Anglosaxons, or the Huns who conquered north europe by the 5th century? Is your "european culture" represented by the Avars, or the Lombardians? Is it the Mongols that came and eradicated large areas in the 13th, is it Bulgars, or is it the AustroHungarians?

Did you even look at a european map and see the "civilisation" 2 millenias before...do you see the void there? Do you even realize the name of the white race comes from caucasus?

What an ignorant and pathetic approach! Disgusting!

calm down guys. just ignore some turkish users. dont let them provoke you.

I respectfully disagree. Heurtel and Granger are overrated. I actually like to watch Heurtel's game very much, but not on my team please.

Turkey is a part of Europe geographically and has been a part of it culturally, regardless of what one might think. I don't see a valid argument for opposition here.
We could have chosen Asia, and we may at some point in the future, but it's actually up to us, not to Europe.
Same thing for Russia.

Israel, Georgia, Armenia that I can understand... But Turkey is out of the discussion.

Serbia and Scandinavia are same culture? I didn't know that:D
We should go with Japan and China?

Ok, I hold my hands up. I didn't expect us to beat Barcelona and I certainly wasn't expecting a 20 point win away to Maccabi tonight. Looks like when the team clicks we can actually play some ball. Lets hope we can keep it up.

Turkey's European part is more populated than Serbia and Greece. You usually make decent comments but this one was highly on the spastic side, m8.
