Americas Clubs League

Latest news: Brazilian Confederation (CBB) has banned Franca BC from playing the Liga Sudamericana due to political confrontations (Franca is one of many clubs from the state of Sao Paulo that declined to play this year's National Tournament, unhappy with the CBB), so Franca could also be banned from the Americas League.

how many imported players per team?
Don't know yet. Some countries play with 2 and others with 3, so FIBA could let each team use 2 or 3 according to the nation.

By the way: today i finally saw Fox Sports promote the league. Now we can 100% say it's gonna happen.

EDIT: southern groups settled:

Group C - Brasilia - December 18/20th

Pitágoras Minas (Bra)
Boca Juniors (Arg)
Franca (Bra)
Defensor Sporting (Uru)

Group D - Mar del Plata - January 8/10th

Peñarol (Arg)
Universo BRB (Bra)
Libertad (Arg)
Liceo Mixto (Chi)

Group C will be played in Belo Horizonte (brazil), instead of Brasilia. So that means Minas will be hosting it. The other big change is that Flamengo will play instead of Franca, excluded from the competition because of its conflict with the Brazilian federation.
