Very interesting recap, Worrax, a lot of work, congratulations :) What about if you give some points like 4-3-2-1 to the 1st-2nd-3rd-4th to give a different value depending on the position? I think it could reflect more precisely the ranking, how it would be?

Thanks man... still living with the old memories. Remembering these days are very nice and nostalgic. Deadly zones of Efes, unbelievable athletism and defence of Limoges (especially with great Michael Young), the unforgettable Cibona days... Dream team of Maccabi (and how sometimes they suffer against the great Naumoski) :) Ginobili, Granger and Kinder... The shocking Partizan... Ivkovic (RIP) and Oly, the proffesional and the believers time... Obra "the best" and legendary Pao... The beautiful side of bb and the real steel Tau Ceramica. Everybody's team Siena...ect. A lot to say, a lot to write...

...what will you say about; Den Bosch, Standart Liege, Academic, Warszawa, Bucuresti, Honved? What was bb like in that days? How they made F4? Why they are not around anymore? Look at that Cech and Polonia teams; Brno, Slavia, Orbis, Poznan... where are they now? If i had a chance to go back in time, i'm sure i was trying to watch these teams, especially Dynamo Tbilisi... the most interesting for me. I lived in Tbilisi 4 years and that team is, as important as their country for Georgian people...

Great job Worrax, congratulations and thanks for trying my suggestion, it's very interesting to see the results :)

Seeing Tbilisi so high up the rankings really stood out. How important is basketball in Georgia now? Rugby seems to have become quite popular there. Any idea how that happened?

I really don't have an idea, but it's true... People giving up all their works if there's a rugby game. I was also shocked when i heard it first. In 2019 and 2020, when i was working there, Dynamo again became champion and some players visited our casino to celebrate and played some slot games. It was late at night and i found some time to talk with one of their players. He told me that their league is so weak and Dynamo is the clear favourite every year. Player salaries are so less. Nothing's like old (Soviet) times... but lots of young prospects coming up, this is what they have and very valuable for them.

Nice add LuDux! It's good to see "Performance by nations" thank you for sharing.

Here we go again...
4 great teams with their great histories...
The historical F4 overall standings waiting for a refresh...

1.Real Madrid (SPA) = 32 times played F4;
Champion: 10 times,
Finalist: 8 times,
Third Place: 4 times,
Fourth Place: 10 times.

7.Olympiacos (GRE) = 10 times played F4;
Champion: 3 times,
Finalist: 5 times,
Third Place: 1 time,
Fourth Place: 1 time.

10.Barcelona (SPA) = 17 times played F4;
Champion: 2 times,
Finalist: 6 times,
Third Place: 3 times,
Fourth Place: 6 times.

15.Anadolu Efes (TUR) = 4 times played F4;
Champion: 1 time,
Finalist: 1 time,
Third Place: 2 times,
Fourth Place: -

May the best win!

Congrats to Real for wining the title, 2022-23. A better season, but unlucky end for Oly, really pitty... It was also fun to watch that Monaco team whole season, congrats.
All categories updated.

Thank you for this useful summary.

2007-11, every odd year=Panathinaikos title. Tonia will read, remember and be emotionally involved.

1984, fantastic and unrepeatable success of (Banco di) Roma, coach Bianchini, roster made by many Roman players and a superb USA like Larry Wright, they defeated Barcelona (Solozabal, San Epifanio ecc.)
