San Antonio took the expected victory in Lyon. Given the huge difference between these two teams, we must give Lyon credit for playing some descent basketball throughout the whole game. Tony Parker (188-G-82) was the star of the night in his hometown, scoring 25 points before the big break.

Lee (2), Finley (8), Oberto (6), Parker (26), Bowen (7), Bonner (5), Elson (5), Barry (12), Ginobili (11), Duncan (19), Melzer (2), Sanders (4), Butler (3), Williams(5).

few minutes before the end Poppovich changed the lineup and moved Parker to bench...
minute or more after that everyone in the hall cheered Tony, Tony...
minute and a half before the end, everyone was still cheering for Tony...
finally Tony asked Greg to put him back on the court, he laughed and didn't want to do that but eventually he did...
when Tony entered the court he received standing ovation...
it was nice to see that..
eventhough he injured his hand in the preps for the WC and didn't played since last night he was the best player on the court...
hats off...

Asvel did suprisingly good. Thought they would lose higher, having in mind they are not a ULEB Cup or Euroleague team and played against a top three NBA team during the last seven years. Props to Asvel.
