We rent rooms in Lithuania Panevezys city for a fans of basketball. Apartments is 2km from city center and from basketball arena(15 minutes by foot). Apartments is very big,comfortable and nice. Outdoors we have place for camping. There is a lake behind the house.It's ideal place to stay .
For one person one night - 40 euros.(max. 8 persons)
Camping place outdoors - 20 euros/person.(max. 10 persons)
All house one night - 250 euros.

Please consider staying in our R Hostel in Kaunas during Eurobasket 2011. You can reach Alytus (70 km), Vilnius (100 km) and Panevezys (110 km) easily because we are 10 minutes walk away from bus and railways station and you can get bus or train every 20 minutes to directions above. We will be more than happy to have you here in our basketball and table soccer devoted hostel. We also will do some guessing games and in the off day we will try to arrange one or two basketball games in local gym between our guests.

Does anyone have any recommendations for traveling between Kaunas and Klaipėda and Kaunas and Panevėžys during match days? The problem with the regular bus services is that they only run until around 8 pm. I have not found any info on additional shuttle buses.

Here is the answer for you. Tickets available online. BTW, there will be same buses that are used for team players to travel :) Kautra bought/leased 48 new special buses for Eurobasket.

Btw, Spanish NT team, while in Panevezys, was assigned accommodation at a recently refurbished 4* hotel in the town centre, right beside the lovely central park.

It is 5 mins away by taxi from Siauliai basketball arena. Taxi cost 5 Eur.

Once again, does any one have any tips for transportation between Kaunas and Alytus as well as Kaunas and Siauliai. Any advice would be much appreciated.
