I dont think if FLB and Iranian SUper Leauge are one of the best league in asia..

Fr me it would be the PBA, CBA,KBL and JAPAN Leauge

no man you are wrong
the lebanese League is Very strong ,many good players come from CBA and KBL and japan and didn t fit with the team here ...
The lebanese Basketball is a fight on court ...
Teams should fight to win ,
Our league is know about the deffence ...
Deffence good ---> winn
Reggie okosa ,KBL player of the year ,and a gd player didn t fit with muttahed more than 5 games with them ...
Also lamizana average 25 ppg in CBA ,in his first game ,he score 11 pts ,agaisnt an average team kahraba ...
Manny Nba players come to lebanon and didn t play well here ...
Basketball here is difficult ,the strategy is Deffence ---> Win

And all the players who play here fit there in KBL CBA ... like Samaki walker ,Micah Brand ... Roni fahed...

The iranian league appear same to FLB , the same game and strategy ...
Your strategy is Offence ... like KBL CBA ..

CBA is good beacause the level of the foreigner and Not the locals :)

wel i dont say that the team and players are not stong, what im trying to say that ur league is not as organize as the other east asian leauges...and look at al riyadi bunch of superstars right?how about the other team?its not balance, i dont know if they check the salary cap of every team..

its not the league that fits a player..its the system that a coach wants to implement for a team..even a great player would not be effective if he's not fit to the system..

riyadi coach

ur riyadi coach went to the phillipines and watch the PBA...have u heard about it?he's planning to take young lebanese age 11 - 13 to the phillpines to learn philippine basketball..

well for me defenitely PBA is number 1 till in the 90's because its well organized and ofcoursed 2nd oldest profesional league in the world next to NBA and the 1st in Asia but now i think PBA is still in the top 5 but not in the 1st spot..PBA is a very tough league.its hard to win a championship twise or a grand slam because all teams are almost at the same level.

yes man the league is competitive ...
look
Riyadi have great players but Champville have one player who replace all these players ,this name is Fadi el Khatib...
Muttahed have the bes locals ..
Hoops the orginised team ,in chemistry and coach and good foreingn also compete...
Sagesse with some good locals

look these 5 teams are good ....

ex:Hoops beat riyadi by 21 pts
Hoops beat mutahed By 19
Hoops Beat Champville by 19
Sagesse Beat Hoops
Sagesse Beat Mutthaed
Champville Beat Riyadi
Riyadi beat champville---
Antranik beat Sagesse...
look .... riyadi isnt the best ...
All the teams are good

You have to watch some games and you will see the level and the competion ,or take a view in FLB League 2009-2010 and watch the stats and numbers

Unlike National Teams, it isn't easy to directly compare national leagues, and since none of us have watched all national leagues in Asia, this thread is for the most part just trash talk which I shall refrain from joining.

But in terms of influence, it has to be CBA :D Which other league features even half of what we have in 09-10: NT stars from Chinese Taipei, Lebanon and Jordan; and 27 players who have played in NBA regular season (including a former NBA All-Star).

Cba?

Cba?

its good yeah maybe because, china is a big market tahts why nba players(players who has been junk from the nba) has come to china,,,Nike and other shoe company would probably organize some basketball events their because china is very very big market but it doenst mean that cba is the best league wqahahaha

dude, the imports in the CBA would ravage the PBA.

Not to mention the size difference.

I just want to mention something , even Rony Fahed told me about it , the Chinese league is very offensive and any player can score 20-30 pts.
An exemple about that is Herve Lamizana who had huge numbers in the Chinese league but he failed to impress anybody here , same for Mack Tuck , Reggie Okosa ... mainly bcz the Chinese league is not physical and theres a lot of weak teams.I dont expect an ASIAN country with 18 teams to be that competitive in all games.

Yes, you're absolutely right.

I think most professionals players could play well in any league if they had the "right" coaching system for them. For example, Jonas Villanueva from Philippines could probably be successful in most leagues, but he's comfortable in the PBA because he understands how it works. Put him on the right team, and he'll be successful. It's just like Saurunas Jasikevicius. When he went to the NBA, he couldn't get onto a team that was made for his style, so he didn't look good. In reality, he was still one of the best PGs on the planet at that time.

So, saying that a PBA player would not to well in the FLB (or vice versa) might be true, but it's not necessarily because the player is not good.
