47th PBA Season (Philippine Cup, Commissioner’s Cup & Governor’s Cup)

Watching Will Navarro so far, and looks like he's being given room to showcase his skillset in NorthPort. His ability to move the ball and move without it, rebound, defend, drive, and he's even bringing up the ball as a point forward.

His numbers so far are 16 PPG on 45% FG (33% 3PT), 70% FT, 8.7 RPG (1.7 offensive), 4 APG, 1.2 SPG, and 0.7 BPG. Looking pretty good after the elims. Hope he can keep that up, and improve his 3-point shooting too. He keeps that up, B.League and KBL teams will be salivating.

Motivation is obviously being harvested to enjoy the perks of being in the SMC or MVP camp. His game simply didn?t translate with the increased physicality and skill level. Even the much hyped and often defended by pundits Adams (misused daw) has been exposed by the PBA. Some players are just not meant to thrive in the PBA setting.

how is this guy doing in Bleague, is he thriving as he talks a lot of shts about the PBA

i think aside from his performance burning bridges might be another reason why will not don the gilas jersey again, last Sunday was the first time i watched Will Navarro play in a full game, i like how he plays the game walang sayang na movement, he is like a more athletic version of Tony Dela Cruz, though the former is slightly a better shooter especially from the midrange

Simon Enciso loves being surrounded by beautiful ladies

Squidward is just at his usual ranting sounding like a defeatist but in the game itself we all know that his team will not just die down, actually if ROS has an import like Miller i think they are slightly better than Converge

Having two imports is Tab Baldwin's idea as part of fixing the "tactical immaturity" he is pointing out two years ago which Yeng vehemently opposed. The irony.

CYG was pointing the Bay Area situation. If they were not playing in the league CYG wont be asking for it.

Its just a mismatched galore in favor of BAD against ROS. We including coach Kalbs should't really expect a competitive game when majority of our guards, wings, forwards & centers lacked the qualities of a basketball athlete while being 4 to 6 inches shorter than the competion.

The only team that compete with them is Ginebra w/ a lineup of Skati, Gray, Malonzo, Brownlee & Japet as their 1st five.

I believe that there is nothing wrong with the idea of stand-by imports. You need a spare tire to keep moving.

Is that practice even illegal in the PBA?

was never really practiced in the pba , though teams are given the prerogative to replace their import mid tournament if they suck or get injured. the empires seems to have an easy time replacing imports and barely play all pinoy while the indys and farms teams usually had the problem

yeah pba should now allow 2 imports, especially that there’s always a tendency that said import could be put on health protocols. At least BAD is exposing the antiquated norms of the league, hope they do away with the height limit next yr

Wait didn't BAD announced that they'll be using Nicholson instead of Powell? And I don't really think this ROS team is capable of upsetting BAD regardless of which import was playing.
