Who would've thought trigger-happy midget Melecio would be effective under the right coach.
 
Calvin Oftana with another good game. 15 points on 6-10 shooting (3-5 3PT), 5 rebounds, 0 turnovers.

Looks like the Mikey suspension was helpful for him. Granted, this one was against TerraFirma, but good performance nonetheless. That will get his confidence going.

Perfect timing too as we need shooters.

Inconsistent outside shooting was our problem in the past three FIBA WC qualifying windows.

How many loss Terrafirma needs? Blackwater also suffer this long losing streak last year but but they do something... Changing coach, changing imports, get some players in free agency and some of their games were competitive... But what about Dyip? No changing of coach, no change of imports, not getting players in free agency to improve their roster and all of their games are blowout... Since AFC, Terrafirma's losing margin is already more than 25 pts... This is insult to the fans who want good quality games... Maybe they will get more than 30 game losing streak with this sh**ty organization...

BAD 1st to qualify in the playoffs after they beat NLEX by 20 pts, Powell is such a joy to watch. Coach Goorjian said in the presscon that he has been disappointed with the officiating this game and will study game tape on how out refs call the game.

Ayo should be consider as the next Gilas coach, also Goldwin. Assuming that they still won't consider a foreign coach.
 
Converge seems like the perfect place for Ayo, not much meddling just letting him do his thing

yep both Goldwin and Ayo deserve a Gilas call up down the line, ideal situation for them is to be a understudy of a foreign coach like Charles Tiu or Jong, let them absorb all the knowledge

agree on this, Ayo is a douche, but a great coach, i just hope he doesn't do anything stupid this time, he's burned so many bridges already! (The Dominicans, Lasalians, Long Hair and Chooks hate his guts)
