Depends if he gets an offer from a KBL or a B.League team.

Well, he already got a few months from a KBL, di ba? Of course things could change. The point is, merong foreign team ang nagka interest sa kanya.

Yeah, he did, and actually got a contract. Hope he can get there eventually. Kahit sa Japan man lang.

That's very good. Navarro, somehow would take the spot of Jamie Malonzo. Playing in the PBA for 2 conference would be much better than sitting idle. Sayang rin naman yung pera.

So this means that by next year, Navarro is KBL bound na?

Its a good consolation for him actually. NP is the best spot for a mobile 4 right now. Deep rotation, fast pace, license to shoot from outside. It also helps NP fill the defensive hole left by Malonzo.

And even if Navarro plays 4, he'll still have the license to play from the perimeter. Alongside Arwind, he'll be the 3.

Can we say that NorthPort is the model farm team, a team that actually develops players and sometimes, go far in the playoff, and when time is right, profit from the sale of the developed players to the team's overlord, but at the same time, acquire new promising players to repeat the cycle. Perafirma and BW are the exact opposites.

NLEX under Yeng too, minus the going far in the playoffs part.

Hmm yeah, if only they have no marhcing orders to lose intentionally to SMC teams they could actually go deep into the playoffs like ROS. And the franchise had developed a lot of players for smc, Terrence, pringle, Mo, Malonzo and even Cstan!

can we say the same for NLEX under Yeng? though the current nlex now looks like a dumpsterfire aside from alas (who is ripe for picking).

Pido playing Navarro at 3, good for Navarro.

And now NorthPort's trying a lineup of Bolick-Navarro-Arvin-Arwind-Caperal. Positionless at 2 and 3. Pido really likes those lineups, huh?

Navarro makes a catch-and-shoot 3 and then a pull up jumper off the PnR. Nice.

He now has 14 pts, though his team is getting a beating from SMB

And he's getting isolation and PnR reps in the team. Good to see. Better keep it up to impress the Korean scouts again.

If Will keeps getting this kind of freedom and he capitalizes on it and becomes good, he'll be entertaining Japanese and Korean offers in no time, and he can sign abroad as soon as his contract ends after the Governors' Cup.

NorthPort still proves to be a nice place for wings like Navarro to develop. Having Pido, who likes tall wings and tall small ball lineups, helps.

Do well enough, and he could even get an offer from SMB which includes a pangkabuhayan package (aka post retirement plan)

I think he doesn't need that kind of package... He wants personal developmental growth as a player... From his time with Greece and with Ateneo... he wants to be a better player...

But it's not good if his team practice is just like this:

?Sa plays, medyo magulo ng konti in terms of offense. Kasi sa training, medyo nagre-relax lang kami. Medyo nagta-translate din siya sa game. Kailangan naming seryosohin siguro more ?yung training. Tapos sa game, dapat adjust din. Nakakahiya din tambak kami. Hindi ako sanay sa ganun eh,? said Navarro.

The sad culture of PHL basketball... Always relax on practice, No discipline trainings, Weird "Bara bara" plays, etc... If Navarro stays for long in PBA, he will be like Kevin Ferrer, Because he will learn laziness and losing culture, especially with Northport... I don't care if he plays right position, But if their status is just like that, His development will stuck just like Ferrer...

Well, its obvious that Navarro is used to the winning culture being instilled by coach Tab Baldwin in Ateneo & Gilas as well.

Such statements by Navarro only reflects the huge difference in terms of mentality & culture between Northport under coach Pido Jarencio & Ateneo/Gilas under coach Tab. That statement says it all.

In addition to that, he's got international basketball fitness in him (at least in the East Asian level). I mean, look at his upper body and the way he moved on the court, may kakaiba eh. We can tell that he wasn't really idle after the Asia Cup.
