Leo Austria has won PBA championships in the PBA only becoz his team is super loaded with talent while most of the PBA teams are so depleted.

With Kouame as our most likely naturalized player in the 5th window, I don't see Fajardo's unavailabilty as that much of a loss. Japeth is still there & while I'm not a big fan of Japeth, I see japeth as the more effective big man for Gilas than Junmar.

Will SBP contact Kai/his camp/Adelaide? Only SBP can answer that... But in my opinion, I hope SBP ask Adelaide to lend Kai for Gilas, especially that Kai is not getting any significant minutes there... Atleast in Gilas, He will get 30 plus minutes... Stamina no more issue for Kai since he played 30 plus minutes against Lebanon with no ease... Junmar is out, Kouame is not 100% healthy, So having Kai is a big plus for us in 5th window....

IT looks like a Thomas Robinson return is very much on the table for San Miguel.

Head coach Leo Austria revealed Robinson is still in touch with the team even after the Beermen's original import choice for the PBA Commissioner?s Cup returned to the US after sustaining an injury to his back.

SMB kept the door open for Robinson by placing him on the reserve list, instead of releasing him.

?Nagpadala siya ng video, nagwo-work out siya and he is trying his best na makabalik dito. He wants to play with us. Unfortunately, hindi nangyari ?yun,? said Austria.

Austria, however, declined to go into details on whether San Miguel will eventually replace Diamond Stone, who was Robinson?s replacement.

?Puwedeng si Robinson. Puwedeng hindi siya. Puwedeng si Diamond,? said Austria.

The possible return of Robinson, a Sacramento draft pick in 2012 who played in the NBA for five years, should be a boost for San Miguel, which is now playing without June Mar Fajardo after he suffered an injury in his throat.

Stone struggled against Bay Area with Fajardo out as he had 11 points and 14 rebounds. He also shot 5-of-18 from the field.

San Miguel will have ample time to prepare for the next game as the Beermen?s won't be seeing action until Friday against Converge.

Besides, Kai is only getting token minutes at Adelaide so far this season. Its not like he's part of the team's main rotation. I see no reason why Adelaide won't release Kai for Gilas in the 5th window.

I thought its stipulated in Kai's contract with Adelaide that the the latter should release him when his national team needs his services. I think everyone of us wants to see Kai play for Gilas as often as possible.

This I say, SMB without Junmar is still better talent-wise than either Northport & Converge. Yet both Northport & Converge put up good challenges vs. Bay Area Dragons while Leo Austria's SMB was easily got massacred by the Dragons. This goes to show how shitty Austria's coaching is. He won several championships with SMB only becoz he has a super souped up roster.

JF does get favorable calls. But he also receives a lot of physical punishment. This probably was a tremendous elbow from the import but we didnt see him react at all.
