Pogoy in Clark bubble with 45 iirc, but we all know how his game translate to fiba lol

"Pang PBA lang laro mo"

But in fairness to Pogoy, I think he was serviceable with Gilas in 2016 (cadets) & 2017.

Mike Nieto was more useful than Pogoy in FIBA. Enough said.

In fairness Mike played under Tab and in his system. He was an end of the rotation guy. He was there more so new SFs and hybrids like Balti and Carl had an example.

Pogoy I think improved his PBA play but stagnated his Fiba skills. His defense got worse because he became more of a scorer. But his handles did not improve enough to guard level. He is still more comfortable with one, two or three dribble moves. He cant really slash from 3 or probe. He is also not used to quicker and longer players contesting him from the perimeter. He is also too small to use his post moves in Fiba.

So in Fiba only his shooting is translatable. But also declines with the better defenders.

Similar height Suerte was being trained by Tab as PG/combo guard. All 6'2 Fiba candidates should be be aimed for that role.

Mike's probably ahead in handling too. I saw him get ballhandling reps in RoS. Last game, he had 5 assists, and a PnR possession. In a sense, he's also trained to be a combo guard.

Phoenix Fuel masters is now for sale (I don't know if this conference or Govs. cup, will be their final appearance but for sure this is their final season).... Who will be the takers for this franchise to take over this team? Their line up still good, Still have Perkins, Mocon & Anthony, plus young guns Tio, Serrano, Adamos, Muyang and veterans Jazul & Garcia... Then they hold 1st rounder from NLEX.... Although not a loaded like Alaska when they announced leaving the league last February...

They don’t have their first round pick for next year.

Hopefully a company as determined similar to converge gets them. Then hopefully Terrafirma is up next

I don’t get why SMB gets imports that can’t jive with junemar. They should focus on getting a big perimeter 3/4 as an import , especially with Manuel at the 4

Hahahaha blame their scouting and their coaching staff honestly.

They got mccullough who played mainly at 3 in 2019.

So other fiba teams do their homework and minimize pogoys impact hehe:cool: Pogoy become a scorer in the pba than a spot up shooter hence the dissapointment in fiba play recently

if true, its a step at the right direction for the PBA

post: Kuliglig told me that the BAY AREA DRAGONS signed a 10-year franchise contract with the PBA.
Hmmm... totoo kaya to?
Also he told me that the team including its ballboys are billeted at the posh Shangri-la Hotel.

Chickenjoy guy would've been perfect but I think he's injured

Tungcab's development has been good, he was playing as a PG vs NP and he looked good. Hopefully he could sustain it and he might see himself playing again for Gilas. 6'2 athletic PG
