Two years into the future.

List potential prospects as well as coaches here.

The SBP should consider hosting this event.

Born-2008 players and younger, notable prospects off the top of my head:

1. James Sanderson - 6'2
2. Harrison Jones - 6'6
3. Prince Carino - 6'6
4. Kenji Moral - 6'0
5. Patrick Pasinos - 6'5 (not sure if born '08 or '07)
6. Mark Dulin - 6'5 (not sure if born '08 or '07)
7. Travis Pascual - 6'2
8. Brian Stevenson - 6'5
9. Eion Braga - 6'8 (still raw but promising)
10. Prince Yap - 6'8 (raw??)
11. Owen Calanasan - 6'9 (still raw)
12. Jordan Mize - 6'6 (very slim chance we'll have him as he's already shortlisted for USAB)
13. Kainoa Patton - 6'3 (raw but high upside)
14. Tyler Reyes - 6'8 (still raw but will be trained in the US)
15. Ziv Espinas - 6'4
16. Gab Castro - 6'5 (raw)

Most of these kids can still grow an inch or two. I've also included raw but tall prospects as they still have a chance to improve drastically over time.

Many of the prospects are eligible for the U16 next year. It will serve as a filter and gives us a picture who's ahead in development. A 2 year grind will definitely improve and mature their games.

Prince Carino, Andwil Yap, Kai Patton, Tyler Reyes, and Jordan Mize are stilll all eligible for the U16 next year.

Mize will have a hard time breaking into the lineup of the US team, as his position as a wing is the most loaded with all the best players. In contrast, JJ Mandaquit, with his unique skills as a pure point guard, stands out and was included in the US team.

Even KD himself said it is the most important position in the NBA. I mean the Wing position prolly has the most players drafted every NBA Draft.

Braedon Gupilan-Holt, Ajani Jones and the son of the previous FSA of UE looks promising the last time I've watched those kids played thanks to their african genes they continue improving their physical attributes.

Watched the UAAP U16 game between Adamson and DLSU earlier, 6'3 SG/SF Keefe Illedan from Adamson JHS team looks promising and has high upside. As far as I know, kid just turned 14 and is already one of the main players for his team. Hopefully he'll be called up next year for BGU16 for developmental/exposure purposes, even if he will not be included in the final line-up.

Hopefully Mize's camp considers playing for Batang Gilas. Kid will dominate Asian U16 comp.

I think they do really consider it, Mize himself acknowledge his filo roots. It is just a matter of when (or if) he will get his PH passport and if he will be included to the final lineup of US youth.

I hope they choose Coach Ayo or Coach Toroman as the new head coach for Batang Gilas. In my opinion, they are the top developmental coaches currently available in the Philippines.

Good Day Sir lemon,

that long wing span of the kid is something.

for me it doesn't matter if the kid will be able to crack the final 12 of Uncle Sam's Under team

for as long as the kid had obtain his PH docs before his 16th bday in the same situation as the JJ kid and Kamaka

Sir Mets and his small circles are eager people who loves to do some legworks because they love the game and they've already know(?) the process

in the same breath as Sir Dave and Sir Nardy

besides it is within his parameters in that vast Californiacation

"Trust the Process".

Good Day Sir Zims,

those coaches are had the brains to be our next HC for BG

but we all know the history, it's an onion

I think the best approach on this is to gather and had a meeting

on all stakeholders involved in HS and College schools

to avoid that "Pirates of the Caribbean" storyline

i don't thing setting a meeting would cost a lot on our NF

Are they in contact with the Mize's camp already sir regarding his PH docs? If so, then that's great news.

Sir Earl,

all I can say is that there's a lot of basketball loving Filipinos in that very vast State

the important thing is there's a lot who wants to help without any bad intention in return

in the same manner as Maria Pizarro and sons

the bottomline is "For the Love of the Game, For the Love of the Culture".

I read the piece of a homer sayson who wholeheartedly supported joke seyer by using fallacious arguments.

Mr sayson, in effect, said not to trust the words of anonymous blog posts, but maybe, trust HIS opinions or those of his favorite prophet.

Foolish and illogical.

The words of a stranger, poisonality or taylor swift on the youth nt coach can all be valid, if you actually validated them. It is the quality of an opinion, not the name of the opinion- maker, that matters. This is why i never trusted mass media journalism because any fool can use the current liberal and neoliberal platform to aggressively pursue their opinions or agenda.

Kokonti lang legit na mass or social media writers. Kailangang may track record mga iyon ng pag gamit intelligently ng available facts and trends

No one with half a brain can even challenge that just about any pinoy coach can win all asean games that joke seyer won. No one can also question that extra talented and tall boys like sotto and edu, and on a much lower level, hero ballers like alas and gemao created undeserved wins for joke seyer. In other words, the low-quality pinoy youth teams won because their defeated teams are even weaker. Anyone saw those 50-90 point pinoy beatdowns from known top ten world quality youth nts?

So why is the joker still the coach? Because he is willing to receive low allowances, or deserve low allowances that no other coaches will accept? The bad records of both playing capabilities and ridiculous coaching selection and chosen ddo offense abilities are all there in videos to see

Mr sayson should not try to insult the intelligence of anonymous posters, especially as his writings do not reflect much intelligence and wisdom.

Bad thing is looks like Harrison Jones did not able to get his passport yet, I think it is already late for him. Saw his reply on his latest post. Too bad he is already making noise in Texas as a 6'7 SG.

we do hope SBP should re-consider FIBA eligible 6'2 PG James Sanderson and 6'6 PG Chase Robertson for a possible tryout

for U18 training camp.

I think James Sanderson was already been cut(?) for Team USA's U16 recent training camp and currently preoccupied(?) with his schooling @ Frisco Emerson HS

one of the main reason why he is non commital for this year's NBTC edition.

as for Chase Robertson and Harrison Jones, there's a possibility that they could come over for next year's event.

and speaking of 6'7 Harrison Jones he is currently rank [NODE="3"]Blogs[/NODE] SF in Texas for class of 2027
