And to be more specific Goran Dragic was rather close Nash and Doncic. I have KJ being slightly better than Goran in his prime and not as good as Doncic. So maybe it's clearer now. BTW, Nash became.mvp with 18/11,6/4 as his best stats. NBA still was a little different.
 
I would never write something out of the blue. You cant write something like "same tier as Doncic" if you dont have Lebron caliber player. This is mega out of the blue.

To the other topics: I would never write something like "he IS". I would rather write "he has a lot of ... in him. You write as if the guys are in the MVP talk in the NBA.

No KJ, no Saraf or no Topic are even close to those guys you mentioned but they can have decent NBA careers.
 
Dude, you see NBA potential in every random Turkish player :) You have no obligation to come here and trash a guy who have been top 3 conv for majority of the season in one of the deepest drafts. Close is not the same as to be Doncic.

I dont see anything in any player who is not at that level and I dont trash anyone. And no he is not even close. :)

in 2030 still will be singing Sabonis is nba all star but dont expect from him neither scoring,neither defence + he also cant shoot. But nba all star can put good screens and rebound haha :)


What kind all star is that ? He wont score like all star and will be hole in defence. So how any coach supposed to put winning team around such skill player?

No wonder no coach have figured out how to do that neither in fiba neither in nba playoofs atmosphere when such skill center plays big minutes.
 
And one more thing about play makers and NBA... its really difficult for a European guard to get a major role in the NBA and if you cant get that role it is really difficult to evolve to a floor general. If you can do it there is nothing better than an NBA guard who plays every second day 30 minutes but if you cant compete you can end up playing 10-15 minutes. It is then difficult to finish games, have the responsible guard feeling and so on. Thats the reason why I prefer a Euroleague guard who is used to finish games and carry a team. It is also more difficult to score in EL.
 
Brazdeikis confirmed today he's open to play this summer, however seeing how much of an enigma he's heen to coaches I don't have much faith in Kurtinaitis being the one who will unleash him

Yesterday was very good example on why White guards 1,90-1,98 have very difficult time in nba.

I watched Clippers vs Nuggets game 1

Bogdan Bogdanovich is fiba superstar and nobody would say he is very bad in defence or some soft player right? If anything he looks like dog in fiba.

But in nba playoofs and in detailed basketball it was just eye opening ... Yesterday every single time Nuggets was attacking him in his 10minutes.And Bogdanovich couldnt do nothing. He looked just too small and too weak and too slow to defend those nba afro athletes.

Bogi is not some little guard on paper 1m96 and 100 Kg either.

Also he is not some inexperience player im talking about. Bogi is proven winner,fiba superstar, 16pts regular season nba player and he was simply played out of the floor because he was weak link in defence.


Thats why for white guards is very difficult in nba. Not because of offence,because of defence.

Yeah and the danger is that you wont see meaningful pt or dont get this leading role. Look at Schroder. Total difference maker in Europe but just a bench player in the NBA. Its a big time difference if you have such a guy but you could also end up wasting your years and become nothing. Look at Garuba and others. The first year of a NBA career is always a bottleneck especially if you are a white guard.
 
But Bogi not in his prime anymore too. Used to be better athlete a bit. That's why Buzelis upside is scary cause dude can stay with you and block the shit out of ya. KJ has plus wingspan and he's better athlete than say Micic. Defensively he will have issues, but won't be exactly targeting material, at least scouts say this. Schroeder is not primarily in NBA not because of lack of D, but lack of all around offense, like too little shooting and facilitating. Let's not forget Rubio, Doncic, Dragic were primarily and even such guys as Calderon, Kirk Hindrich, or hell even freaking Satoransky was primarily for a while too. So it's not that super rare too. I definitely see Topic, KJ with primarily handlers upside, and Saraf, Traore likely too.
 
Schroder has everything to be a very solid defender on the defensive end but he is lazy and KJ as far as I saw him on the FIBA U18 tournament and a couple games does not have the will or the instincts to be a plus defender and he is vertically limited. We will see.

Buzelis will go his way. His floor is very high. I would even say that his floor is a solid starter. If his shot comes around, he can be a top 50 player.
 
And 197cm for a SG position in the NBA is very small. Bogdanovic will be getting eaten alive in the playoffs.
 
Buzelis will easily be top 25 player.

And yeah Bogi size is nothing special for 2 in NBA.

Buzelis draft year is so weak that is questionable if it delivers even one allstar and he wasnt even in the ROTY discussions. He has solid upside. I'll give him that but he has several obstacles. First he needs to start and increase his playing time, then he must show that he can create, then we will be able to measure his value.

How in 2020s nba playoofs screening is happening and everybody is switching.

Doesnt matter what position player play,they see white guard under 2m00 they like bulls seeing red color and calling come here to dance after switch white boy :)

Bogdanovich yesterday 12min was offensively in PG position when Harden went to bench. He was the smallest Clipper out there (Harden on bench minutes)



For white european 2m03+ bigs and for 1m90-1m98 european guards its tottally diffrent nba world.

Like in every nba playoofs teams we can name european with 2m03+ size who is playing real minutes,like half of them in starting 5.


Now try to tell white european guard 1m90-1m99 who will get atleast 15-20minutes in 2025 playoofs? I think we can count them on one hand fingers.


I cant even name 3 guards in my mind without checking.

Yeah white guards are mostly not fast, not long and not athletic enough to guard their American counterparts. If you have a true European guard who can take a serious role in a contending team your NT is already top class but its not a necessity.
 
On the other hand its Golden age for Europeans 2m02-2m12 size players

Never in fiba basketball there was so manny of such class,such skill white bigs at same time like today.
