To be fair with Junior, the player that he have in youth team are good individually can do face up blocks run the flloor basic dribbling, its just that his style is too free flowing.. but thats youth basketball its for development.. but Filipino fans wanted our youth players be measured against world level competition..

do we have a coach for our youth team?

I hope the the next youth coach would always try his best to assemble the best talent available and suitable to FIBA competitions and with a mindset that is in sync with the senior NT.

I think we're missing to mention these 2 kids (6'6 Thirdy Candare and 6'5 Andre Gamboa) regarding our u16 team next year. Thirdy Candare leading the MPBL JR in blocks for u16 and he's the only kid I saw who did 2 hands slum dunk in a game and Gamboa a son of a former PBA player who is one of the leader for blocks for U16 in MPBL JR

What team do these kids play for?

Any news on Tyler Reyes? It seems like he might be on track for the fastest development among our players for this batch after Prince Carino, especially now that he’s gone to the US.

Playing high school ball in Virginia, USA? But i think his sister has more upside than him, but in any case, their dad JayR made the right decision sending them abroad.

TBH I'm more optimistic with this kid than Andwil. Still hoping though that Yap develops into a bruiser type player.

Yeah, for sure. He also has a dad who played professional basketball. His situation is similar to Kai Sotto’s, as both have fathers who played professionally as big men and both their kid went to the U.S. for training. The difference is that Kai is taller and was more of a generational player, showing greater talent than Tyler at the same age.

Among all our big men in this batch, I think Prince Carino has the highest potential. That’s why I want him to have the opportunity to train overseas as well.

Tyler is still raw and lacks "gulang" as of the moment but hopefully a year of training in the US will do wonders for his game. If he'll be at least at par with a 6'9 Kobe Demisana or Raven Cortez, that'll be a big boost for our BGU16 team next year knowing the offense will most likely center around Prince Carino anyway.

Depends on the filams if the offense will revolve around Prince. Trey Pinkard is eligible and with early D1 offers while Hunter Caplan also has D1 offers but Im not sure about eligibility.

Trey Pinkard is born-2008 I think. He is 2027 class so he is the same class as James Sanderson. We might not see him until U18 edition.

Is Caplan born '09 too? Checked his ig and he's class 2027 so most likely, he's born '08 and not eligible for U16 next year. Hopefully he already has his passport.

Why do I have this feeling that since Josh Reyes is no longer the Batang Gilas head coach, things would go well with our RP youth teams from now on?

I have a feeling that more Fil-ams would be included in Batang Gilas & that more good size players & less "bansot" players will make the youth teams.
