I actually like watching Sepak Takraw. It’s an Asean sport. Unfortunately, it seems to be too hard. It’s almost like gymnastics in how dangerous some of its moves seem to be.

Sepak takraw is not global or atleast known sport worldwide... It's just a regional sport ..

USA women's team having hard time so far vs France women's team, now at 23 all...

Overall medal champion of USA is on the hands of women's basketball team.. there is lot more pressure to win here than France... If USA lose, they will also lose the overall medal champs... This is the last Olympic event...

it's crazy how one gold medal can derail someone who has bagged 34 more medals than its "rival". Can't complain though, the gold medal>overall barometer for the rankings puts us as the best southeast Asian finishers

Womens basketball finals is turning into a classic one also.

Diana Taurisi and Britney Grinder should be retire now for playing team USA.. give more opportunities for younger generation players such as Clark, Reese and Brink...

And now officially retain the overall medal tally by getting 40 gold medals overall by USA.. although both China and USA have same 40 golds but USA have more silvers than China (44 silvers for USA while 27 for China)....

only the US Volleyball teams did not win a gold among the popular team sports in the Olympics

there is a high chance since it's not a gold mine for USA, plus with a lot of controversy surrounding it, and I'd rather watch pro boxing than Olympic boxing first of all 3 rounds is too short to really see a clear winner

Before, there are atleast 3 countries who have legit chance to beat USA.. but now I see 10-12 teams who have chance to upset team USA...

I'm talking about a well-constructed and well-prepared USA in a knockout Olympic game (where they actually care). Still just a few countries capable of beating that, no chance in hell it's 12.

It still almost requires a golden generation from another country (last time they didn't win gold in the Olympics is 20 years ago when Ginobili's Argentina golden generation won it), too bad because in every 4 years there's a different country that's hitting that prime timing whereas the US has to match with everyone constantly.

France's coming peak with Wemby and their young guys the next 12 years will be concerning for the US.

Well, I would rather Booker kill France than Curry.. if Curry is hot, it's game over already...

With a box and one, why does it have to be in the hands of Booker? They have LBJ, KD, AD and Embiid.

With a permanent double-team on Curry, they can manipulate a 2 vs 1 at any spot on the court.

I’m also in for scrapping of boxing in 2028, even it is our medal hopeful since before because of controversies surrounding them… better fix their problems first before return…

Of all of those 5 guys on the floor, Booker is somehow the least impact players among you mentioned… but that is the advantage always of USA.. because they are too loaded, their very least performer is also one of the best players too… that is unfair advantage USA has over other international teams…

Not just France… look at the age roster of Serbia, Canada and Germany? All of them mostly are young and they will be better in 2028.. Lithuania is also a very good team that capable of upset too.. Australia also have couple of young players too aside from Giddey that will make them dangerous… Bahamas also the next team that we should look for… they have lots of nba talents plus players playing in us ncaa and some overseas talent… they are the like Canada before 2023 World Cup, just need to have better program and preparation and they are very dangerous, South Sudan is also capable upsetting higher ranked teams, they also give USA hard time in their 2 meetings this summer… also in the mix of surprising any teams are Turkey (they have 5 current nba players led by Sengun and Osman), Spain (their next in line youngsters are coming and wait for Mohammed Dabone), Dominican Republic (I want to see their 5 current nba players commit together led by KAT) and Nigeria (if they resolve their internal problems inside their federation and start focus on basketball again, they have currently have 5 nba players and lots of players playing overseas as import)…

FIBA having difficulty attracting the top stars, US probably will send another b team IMG_2059.jpg
