But some people prefer to call this 'dickriding'.

He 'appreciates' Guam but others 'dickride' Japan. He is the way, the truth and the life. LOL.

As you also disrespect south Sudan since last year... Right? You even tell that south Sudan is one of the weakest teams in the world cup last year, you even said they can't win a game in the world cup games... Look at them now? Right? Guam and Japan have different goals... Guam just contended to be part of Asian elite.. as Japan looking towards world level competition.. and even you telling Kawamura is better than Arakji.. if that is not dickriding then what it is? Arakji is the number 1 guy for Lebanon while Kawamura is just one of the guys in Japan team...

Well, Gilas could have been that team had they completed their assignment. We could have gotten Dom Rep and Angola along with China had Chot and his staff did their homework. This is the reason why people really hated Chot - we already had the chance to do it at home but we did not. And the first mortal sin that SBP did was to place Chot back in the head coaching job.

That Angola game is very beatable... Gilas coaching staff led by Chot didn't focus beating Angola first.. it's also very sad that Lebanon w/o Arakji and Saoud beat same Angola team who beat us twice... We can't catch a break.. even China beat Angola.. that's why I always arguing against those people who mocking Lebanon just only beat Angola last OQT, whereas we can't beat that team twice...but you know, that is the beauty of FIBA competitions.. in the past, it's easy to determine who are the favorites.. now even team USA is not 100% sure of a gold medal even they send their Avengers...little by little, international basketball competitions are already nearing the same status of football competitions that everyone can beat each other...

I am setting aside the Japan hype. It is still quite amusing that the smaller Japan and Gilas teams are playing well outside Asia while China, Jordan and Iran can't do jacksh*t in the Worlds.

SoKor is the worst i cant remember when was the last time they beat a team outside of Asia in major tournaments, even at their peak SoKor always lay egg against team outside of Asia, yes they were able to beat NZ in qualifiers

Meanwhile our olympians are dropping out of competition one by one

For boxing only three remain in contention. Herdy Bacyadan lost earlier.

yeah, but American mainstream media was aghast and shocked. LOLz. The only 3x3 game they know is Ice Cube's Big 3 League featuring retired NBA players

That league is entertaining, but terrible

our athletes except for a few exemptions are not really world class, we don't even have a proper sports ministry compared to other countries, and which countries are lording the medal table? mostly the first world countries who has the money and proper sports program, success in sports is somehow tied to 2 things genetics and countries' economy

it’s a good discussion actually. kawamura or arakji as Best PG in Asia.. both good on their own right..

For Yulo, I think better focus on his 2 category (floor exercise and vault) than all around... Better be healthy in much crucial event that he has a chance.. especially in floor exercise that he have big shot to win the gold

what USA is doing to Jones is what other teams were not trying to do against Kawamura, post him up and let him try to play defense

hats off to SSD, i hope they win against Serbia on Saturday, this team on another group can win 2 games, especially in group B

Not just win.. they have to lessen point differential if they want to advance into QF even if they lose.. as of now the PD of teams who are possibly in the 3rd placers of each group are:

Group A:
Australia + 2
Spain -5
Greece -14

Group B:
Brazil -25
Japan -24

Group C:
Serbia +15
South Sudan -6

South Sudan needs to close the game vs Serbia, to avoid minus point difference big margin.. same goes to Spain and especially to Greece, the Greeks should win big if they want to be in 3rd placer in their group... I guess one of Brazil and Japan will not make it even one of them will win, unless win big margin...

Wondering why don't we have a Department of Sports? Well, we used to have DECS but it's now DepEd. But we need a new department that is really dedicated for sports.

That means elevating the PSC into a full-blown department.
