Clarkson is good at moving w/o the ball… he’s doing that for his career in Jazz… and he’s NBA player, he knows how to adjust in every coach.. and Tim cone is also good at handling any talents… Clarkson + Tim Cone is more lethal…

When Clarkson gets double can he do the passes that Triangle needs. Different situation. I think a Castro type of player with good sense of passing the ball finding open teammates. When opponents collapse he finds way to seek hua teammates.

Can't really fault our defense here. Brazil shot 15-30 from the field in the 2nd half, but they were 28-71 overall. And they had 11 turnovers. Also, June Mar was getting attacked in the PnR. Huertas and Caboclo got a few good looks off them.

Offense was the issue. How do we score against these types of teams?

Having someone like clarkson that can score when the play breaks down and time running out is a neccesity. One of the reason 2nd half we werent able to score is when brazil's d locked them down, hey had a hard time making shots. Clarkson is creative, he'll surely find a way to score the bucket. Brownlee is great but this is his 3rd game in four days. Not ideal for someone his age.

Kai injury is his ribs how he will defend those physical brazillian bigs with a hurting ribs? isang banga konting siko baka lumala pa.

Good decision not to play him marami pa competition.

Love brownleee but brazil showed us why JB is not/ never been in the nba.

Correct… No bias here, We are just unscouted in that game vs Latvia.. yes we will take it that win but for sure if it is a rematch, We have no chance vs Latvia.. I don’t see Latvia will lose b2b against Asian teams… For me just options… Boatwright will have a big shoes to fill once Brownlee will be done… Clarkson is always an option… we should not erase Clarkson as options… NBA talent is still a NBA talent…

Brownlee is 36 yrs old lol, give him a break. The fact that we reached semis because of him tells a lot. Also if you are going to look at his PBA stats, it is already going down year by year. A 26/27 years old Brownlee would cook this guys, well he is still cooking.

not trusting kids cost us specifically KQ and maybe Tamayo a bit, but cant blame CTC, watching that 2nd quarter it was sore eyes to watch them play the triangle.

not familiar with CTC but anything to bleed points in the 3rd quarter to inject scoring, that was just frustrating to watch that CTC made no move, almost stupid actually

Perez should've been inserted early in the 3rd quarter in lieu of Newsome when Gilas can't buy a basket, it will release the pressure on JB by having another shot creator, idk based on Kai's interview it seems he cannot tolerate the pain and maybe they don't want to risk a much more serious injury, anyways still a good tournament for us though the Brazil game was winnable, it was still close it's just we cannot buy a basket

One very important thing to take note of in this tournament is that we really have no depth as long as KQ and Tamayo are too weak to play for prolonged periods. They really need to train them and give them a lot of chops in the Asian level, provided they're injury free and their handlers plays ball with sbp.....

And he’s a legit NBA for a reason… For sure Latvia’s scouting report is we have Clarkson in our line up, but because we don’t have Clarkson and we have Brownlee there, Latvians have no idea how Brownlee plays… Even RHJ having hard time against Latinos…

Returning to the Olympics is the holy grail of Philippine basketball. I felt we had a chance at the last World Cup, but the coach they hired was the problem. We were so close. Anyway, we didn't really expect to qualify for the Olympics through the OQT. Beating Latvia and making the semis is just the beginning of our four-year preparation for the next Olympics. Let's keep our heads up, boys. Our team did well in this OQT. Im so proud.

26 yrs old brownlee would still not make it to the NBA given the competition (PJ Tuckers, Morris Twins of the world)

More reps at this level will surely help. Hope sbp invest in some sort of cadet program that can ease the transition from the aging guys in the lineup.

They need to revive the Lopez-Navarro tandem and keep playing KQ-Tamayo, we really need this kind of depth since they will never play a tournament with just 1 game anyways, I can't believe we have a good enough starting 5 to worry about depth, PH basketball has really came a long way

If only CTC coached our team in World cup 100% sure tayo nasa olympics...

We need to wait another 4 years hays.

Bro… don’t compare PBA with NBA.. NBA still the best talents out there… And that is one of the reasons why we need more options before 2027… Clarkson is still his prime in 2027 at age 34… You said it Brownlee is 36.. in 2027, Brownlee is 39, Father Time is always undefeated… Yes, we have Booatwright.. but what if Boarwright’s experiment fails? Atleast we have Clarkson for another option and he’s tried and tested already…

Lets just hope sbp and gilas really stick with ctc. My fear is one bad tourney performance and people will come for his head. They should understand that a succesful internstional program isnt built overnight.

Against quicker teams, ill bet on clarkson. Thats why my hope is they give him a free pass a local so that gilas can have him and the NP.

Suck Chot Reyes… he ruined our chances.. he has the best talents available but he was sucks at coaching… Prove? Lebanon defeat Angola w/o Arakji and Saoud..
