If changes of line up allowed here, Clarkson is best fit against Latinos… they have bodies to match Brownlee’s talent, while Clarkson can toy this Brazilian defenders

Wouldnt have mattered anyway. There was no way gilas would have known that cameroon would win in that last game. It was always gonna be brazil or montenegro. Brazil chose their opponents here.

Robert, even Clarkson struggled against DR wings so it wouldnt make a difference even if he replaced Brownlee
 
I think Clarkson provides more shot creation than Brownlee which was needed in this game but as a team, Brownlee fits the naturalized spot better
 
Kai and edu would have made a difference for sure hopefully everyone's healthy in the next tourneys and it may be a long shot of happening, but hopefully clarkson gets the pass to play as a local

This loss won't take away what we managed to achieve. Remember CTC mentioned Gilas already had tickets home for yesterday. We played with just 9 men in this final game.

Now we no longer can settle for the excuse "mas magaling talaga sila eh." We showed we could hang with the best. Any loss Gilas has from now on is our own fault. Tab was right when he said we were a top 15 team.
 
Is there a contract issue with Kai? He wanted to play as per Sayson. What happened? Or he is not that brave enought to take the pain even if there was no damage to organs and ribs?

Yeah this is as far as this group goes in terms of tournament basketball. Brownlee looked every bit of 36 years old, Fajardo had moments but ultimately there are guys way more athletic and shoot better, Ramos was gun shy, Japeth playing like Japeth at the biggest stage, maybe the shallow bench made the whole team look predictable. But credit to Brazil, they showed way more composure and depth.
 
I hope Tim Cone and SBP will reconsider Clarkson again… I know he always looking at chemistry and cohesion.. But Clarkson’s talent is very valuable… in World Cup, we will always facing Latino teams, we are always have no chance against them since they have athleticism advantage against us… Only Clarkson’s talent can match to those DR, PR and Brazil’s athleticism… Clarkson under Tim Cone is more deadly…

Coaching staff prolly dont want to risk anything with him. They gambled on not using him. That gamble just didnt pay off.

Clarkson struggled? He scored 28 pts vs DR.. he toyed every single DR opponents, He impacts the team more.. they just Towns and disadvantages at coaching… Clarkson under Tim Cone is more deadly… You also know that…
 
Hahah who will in the right mind will say to anyone that their top 5 is injured..
