Doesn't Georgia needs 37 pt lead win to advance? We are ahead by +9 against them as of now then they are -28 which means 28+9 = 37. Correct me if I am wrong but don't need a 37pt win?

Not really familiar with any of the Georgian guards but i agree, the offense needs to hot early on like it was tonight. They should gun for the win and not settle for less.
 
If Bronny is in NBA. Kai and Brownee and even the Kraken deserves a NBA contract. By the way finally we have respect from European teams, we finally hve a template how to beat European teams and big and tall teams from the West.

If hypothetically Georgia wins by 19 (God forbid)
Then
Georgia: -28+19= -9
Gilas: +9 -19=-10

Then Georgia now has the differential in that scenario.
That's why lowkey I wanted them to get a shot or a drive with less than 10 secs left just to try to pad our quotient

Here's the thing:

18-point loss:
PHI: -9 (9 - 18 = -9)
GEO: -10 (-28 + 18 = -10)

19-point loss:
GEO: -9 (-28 + 19 = -9)
PHI: -10 (9 - 19 = -10)
 
I really hope and pray that AJ will be finally healthy in years to come with him and kai, We can be a dominant team in asia/oceana and regulary beats euro power house team.

I will never, ever forget coach seyer's "bahala na kayo". The last stupid coaching? Nope. His son's basura team got bulldozed by 96 points.

I can stop watching basketball. Marunong ng maglaro at manalo ng basketbol na mga pinoy. But, i can still travel to europe when they go up against the top five teams.

Speaking of that last possession, Dwight needs to be more creative when the ball ends with him in the dying seconds of the shotclock. Multiple possessions in the 2nd half when they just seemed clueless. Simple hesi's, stepbacks, sidesteps, counters, and misdirections to the basket can do the job. He's always dribbling standstill not sizing up the opponent and reacting to what the defense gives him.

As I said, this Latvia game is important for their confidence going into Georgia. They caught Latvia on a bad shooting night while they're locked in and fresh.
 
Perez has a -10 +/- in a 9pt win. I feel like his spot is a goner once Scottie heals.

Australia should send all their bigs to Kai! I'm standing by my prediction that Kai will be the best big in Asia/Oceania! Haha 1 to 2yrs and that would be the reality!

He doesn’t have that kind of handle, I see the same kind of thing with Newsome where they don’t really have that kind of “wiggle” or creativity with the ball. I don’t know if that’s something developed or born with but just my observation so far

not gonna defend Perez but his lob to Kai for a reverse and 2 threes changed the momentum of the game.

Also with that kind of pressure Latvia implemented all game Scottie would have had a turnover galore. Newsome and Perez's cat-like agility and quickness were needed badly para matawid yung bola.

The thing with Perez is he can break the press consistently but brain turns off once he crosses half court. Tim Cone reminded him how important those two possessions he threw away in the first half, did it again in the second half. We got really lucky Latvia can't capitalize on our mistakes.
