You want the completely useless pbs to be at least minimally useful, and to not shamelessly embarrass the philippines in international balling???

All it has to do is to never, ever send a youth nt team half of which are at least 6'5 and taller. There are many good local and filfor players already at 6'3-6'5. At the very least, it forces local coaches to play a big man's game with big men, as they must. Bansot balling is okay in the ncaa, mpbl and pba as these are entertainment groups.

Did anyone even see what a pinoy skilled and strong twin tower of 6'11 and 7'2 can accomplish in international games??? It is most definitely not brownlee, newsome or a thompson that can create consistent advantages for pinoys. Only the most ignorant fans cannot notice that. It was always the skilled pinoy bigs who are the key to future success. Ask tim cone what will happen if he puts a healthy kouame, aj edu, PLUS even a boatwright or qmb, to support the twin towers, EVEN WITHOUT BROWNLEE.

This commentator saying the team has a very good system, if he only knew, man.

Is Andy this good already in the U16 2022 and did not just get an opportunity or he just improved massively?

Josh tried a relatively tall lineup before subbing in Gemao for Castillejos, a.

6'3" Manding
6'3" Medina
6'5" Cabonilas
6'5" Burgos
6'7" Castillejos.

Pretty decent. Burgos looks lanky and mobile, as does Cabonilas.

Improved, Bahay was better

He wasnt that good. He was thin and not as athletic. He would lose his vision when tried to drive. Given his lesser athleticism and strength didnt amount to much. That experience probably spurred him to work on his athleticism in the summer. Which made him into the prospect he is now. Bahay was much better playing both u16 and u18

Burgos 6-5
Lorenzo 6-5
Gemao 6-1
Medina 6-3
Cabonillas 6-5
Esteban 6-4
Hunter 6-2
Ludovice 5-10
Castillejos 6-7
Manding 6-3
Santos 6-2
Esperanza 5-11

For Fiba Asia Cup , shoo in from this team would be Gemao Medina Cabonillas Burgos and Esteban . Maybe Ludovice.

Disappointed with Esperanza, I was expecting him to do Gemao moves but can't . What's special with Hunter that he made the team?Manding has too show more to make it back to for Fiba Asia. Same with Santos , what's his specialty ba that he ,ade the team.. Lorenzo can make the team just because he can stretch. I don't know if Castillejos would be any better than Tumaneng, but at least TUMANENG has the body fir Fiba Asia..

For Fiba Asia hope we can get Daep for Castillejos, hopefully if available Alas for Santos and maybe Bailey and Sanderson for Esperanza and Hunter . Sana may Makita Tayo na 6-9/6-10 player sa Palaro or from Las Vegas

Cabonilas playing 3, interesting.

Converted SF, he can play offensively but defensively although he got length , he can't defend the Perimeter , ginawang asintahan ng shooter ng Malaysia... Him Esteban and Burgos are prototypical Fiba Wings, they just have to improve on their shooting and handles

Aside from Daep , sino pa ba ang age eligible U18ners not yet in the team..Naisip ko is si Jayden Jones , Borja of UPHD, Roma if Ateneo de Cebu /NBA without BORDER vet, and may Ples from Real Madrid Youth Team.... Sino ba from Filfor from NBTC are age eligible... We have 6-9 Vergara from Pampanga but I don't know if he is any better than Tumaneng or Castillejos.

Diao, Morales, and Alas. Given the experience they have gotten in that U17, I think they are pretty much ready for U18. Diao is definitely better than Castillejos. Morales can finally play his natural position 1-3, Alas is Alas. Castillejos is pretty much project at this point averaging 1ppg in UAAP Jrs. Could added Daja but a 6'4 center won't work in the U18 bracket without athleticism and power.

As for NBTC fil-fors, James Sanderson is the only one I am seeing who can play for the team right now. I saw Bailey play for the U18 Fil-Am nation and he is not definitely ready for higher age bracket.
