2023 SEA Games (Cambodia)

I must say, if Gilas ends up winning, I'm happy for Chot. Just to shut the haters up at least until August

He's coached a good SEA Games thus far. Adjusted well, especially on defense, and learned from his mistakes last year. Players made a great effort too.

I was willing to give him a pass in the event that we lose to this souped-up Cambodia team, but he (and Cone) has coached a good game (at least defensively) thus far. Good adjustments in the knockouts every time we had a hard time.

I still want him to go after WC and/or Asian Games, but only because I'd prefer a rebuild with many non-PBA guys and youngsters after then. Nothing to do with his ability.

good win, great defense. chot and his lackeys gonna be braggin about this

No doubt Chot needs to be replaced. But at least he somehow redeemed himself in this sea games

Yes this was a redemption game for Chot and the boys. Good job to them. Perez was in control in his second stint. If he plays like that and cuts down on fouls he may still be in contention.

take note this Cambodia team is composed of legit European journeyman players

basang basa kilikili ni chot, dj khaled cant coach always exerts effort taunting than coaching.. si binay dissapointed

andy jao without that physicality of cstan we wouldnt get the cambodian bigs in foul trouble they also let the tempo that the shootrs were non factor.. pinakagat lang si dj khaled..

Chot just cemented his WC gig as head coach ehehehe

i'm very happy for our players they deserve it.

Well this proved that a 2nd, maybe 3rd-rate Gilas squad on 2 week preparation has enough to beat a team of badly coached Euro/G-League level individuals.

Guess who had a team high plus minus at 20 with 34 mins of playing time? It's not Brownlee. It's Marcio. How good is Marcio, and how weak our SF lineup. Already past his prime and he is still one of our TOP SF performers.

We should thank Cambodia and Indonesia for fielding multiple naturalized players. Good training for some players that are in contention for WC roster spot.

Not really 2nd rate. We have three mobile and active ineligible bigs. This team is actually probably stronger than our FIba team because of these 3 bigs.
