The imports and linoleum court are genuine issues though. I know it's not the issue here but you're not helping your case by mocking Choke supporters in this way, just saying.

Chot has supporters? =) Unfortunately, he does and they are the idiotic power brokers of Philippine basketball.

this is what basketball popularity gives you indonesia isgiving me 2002 rp team vibes where they wanted to know every single star on our nt have..

Everyone gave a great effort from the 2nd quarter onwards. Credit to them. Especially Brownlee, who saved Chot not adjusting much on offense.

Defense, good adjustments from the staff and better effort from the players. That's what we need against Cambodia tomorrow.

And his PBA shooting has worked out so well in the past. Sure, he had a good window, but come on, there are better, more consistent, and/or younger options. We can't take the risk of him shooting bricks and getting driven past on defense

I have Dwight, Parks, Marcio, Heading, Schonny, Thirdy, and Abando at 2. Even Perez is above Pogoy.

Its just the tryout. I think the Ravena's deserve the same. Ive also said 2023 WC should be best roster available. Best foot forward since we are hosting. Long term goals should come second.

Also Thirdy is 24% from 3 this season. Personally I think form matters but obviously its during the camp we weed out those who are inferior.

This forum is now one of the toxic in every social media platforms right now… still find negative comments even winning… too much negative vibes here… even if coach tab coaches here in this event, he will have also hard time winning here…

Good comeback. Brownlee finally played like himself. Perez is playing himself out of contention for WC. Newsome had a better game here but his outside shooting still sucks. That's a big minus for a guard. Rosser was actually the best big today. Made that rolling layup and good defense in the closing minutes.

No, I still support Gilas. I just don't support Choke, Joke, Panlilio, Marcial, and Backdoor. If Tab loses he makes sure it's a hard fought game. Not these PBA vets who think the SEAG is beyond them and barely puts effort in defense until it's too late, or Choke who only relies on talent instead of fostering chemistry and better tactics to suit situations.

Pogoy, off the strength of his 41% 3pt shooting last Governor's Cup, deserves to at least get a tryout for the 2023 WC Roster.

I don't like 6'2 players waiting for a kickout from a dribble drive... especially when 41% in the PBA doesn't mean shit in levels where the closeouts are from athletic guys who are at least 6'6 who can both switch to stay in front of guards and protect the rim on a mismatch. Tab tried to make Troy Rosario guard the wing in 2016, his plan was to make Justine Baltazar do the same thing, Navarro had limited offense but his value was this exact position where guys like Chot ang Yeng Guiao genuinely believe having a guy who can shoot but do nothing on defense because he'll be guarding players at least 4 inches taller doing the same thing at a much higher intensity can work at the FIBA level.

Again the team were facing tommorrow isnt like the mediocre us teams that plays in jones cup.. this team is sponsored by the sea games hosts and has a real coach coaching them..but hopefully 7 man rotation will bite them in the end..but its hard all 7 of them are capable scorers

I think the refs will be the factor tomorrow. Expecting phantom fouls.

I have watched the other game earlier, the reason Thailand wasn't able to close the gap was due to the ticky tacky fouls called in favor of Cambodia. We can't afford always playing from behind and actually start strong this time around. We really can't afford a close game given how un-clutch the other players outside of Brownlee and the favorable calls Cambodia will get tomorrow.

The funny thing is. Marcio might still be our best SF, years after his prime. In limited minutes he can still score, shoot and play decent defense. Of course Dwight is now the better over all player but in end games when you need your SF to be able to shoot, Lassiter might be a better choice.

If we had multiple 6'5" shooters Id be with you but our options for deadeye shooting are both undersized, Pogoy and Heading. Unless you want Adams who last lead his team was just send to B3.

What is sad is that if we win tomorrow, SBP-PBA will use it as vindication of their "efforts" and we get the living hell that is Philippine basketball incompetence to continue with their obsolete ways.

Im not a fan of dwight being a three and marcio is 6'2.. the position should be hybrid either tamato baltazar or a phillips...We just want dwight to play like gabriel deck or nocioni for us..
