2023 SEA Games (Cambodia)

It was bad offense most part in the 1st qrt. 2nd qrt it was ok there more ball movement. But we dont have advantage thats like CTab swing offense not getting shots on DR. Thats why we end up with iso.

These imports are experience so this is not as suprise. Some of them have played together. No local Cambodia entered the game.

Are hope is these imports will tire out and we make a run like the one we have against Jordan.
 
If this is gonna be the end result, we might have just sent a youth team (college players or HS graduates; eligible or not) backstopped with a few capable vets. At least the learning experience will be justified.

The objective for this team is to win the gold, not much else, although we do have Jerom, Mason, and Mike there as youth elements.

After this seagames, SBP would need to Invite that Cambodia team into friendly games prior to World Cup. Team is equal to a Latin/Afrtican NT’s

Gelvis Solano, Victor Liz and Rigoberto Mendoza will kill Chot-led Gilas team way worse than the 27-point blowout of Tab's team.

I kinda overestimated our chances here, admittedly. I thought defense was gonna help us win. But come on, I think most of us expected more effort from the players. Chot can only do so much with this lineup (that said, he's responsible for choosing this lineup, so ayun).​

But, as I said, if our only objective is to win the gold, and no other objectives, jeez.
 
Even if they lose to Cambodia I still see this team beating Indonesia

Chot's gonna ready the excuses all he wants but this is just flat out embarassing if we lose. We're a world cup team, we shouldn't be losing to a rag tag team import players. Better kiss our Olympic dreams goodbye is we're scared of this Cambodian team playing with just 6 guys.
 
If we lose this one, we will be facing the No. 1 team in the other group in the semis, right? That would probably be defending champion Indonesia.

imagine if we lose to Indonesia in the semis, we will be relegated to the battle for the bronze. And we can't even be sure if we will get the bronze!!

If this happens, I wonder what would it be like in the Phi basketball community? I just wonder how much hatred Chot Reyes will get from pinoy fans.
 
Honestly No system and Program has been build Since Chots took over HUGOT System parin naman so its not really too late if we change coach... but all in for embarassment na SBP for chot
 
Those refs aren't helping though. It's like Cambolifornia never gets fouls called in them.
 
I don’t know the behind the scenes but I think Chot is just a scapegoat

Hopefully, enough to get him booted out. But that's just too much to ask. It's not even Christmas.
 
On paper we sound more American than this Cambodian team haha.

I think this is the most "American" roster we ever assembled with only Perez, Lastimosa, Oftana and Tolentino as the pure Pinoys.
