Yeah he's about an inch taller than the 6'3 Parks.
Something like 6'4 1/2,so legit 6'5 with shoes on.

We can have tryouts in the US but that also cost money. Basically more investment in our youth even if funds have to be moved from the seniors squad. Invest in our future.
Unfortunately, there's no funds at all. Everything is coaches and players' expense. No transportation allowance, no money for gym rental (meralco gym use is a donation, Philsports Arena is free but always fully booked). Players' parents / guardians / school cover everything. Packed lunch after a four hour practice is a parent donation. Frankly, walang pera ang BG U16.

So no budget to get the filam nation team to play for us last year? Or EZ Mils dad shouldered it all?
no idea about that but if EZ mils did shoulder even some of the expenses.... then we should always allot 1 slot for someone's son. hahahah
Didn't some of U16 players was funded by SBP and course thru FilNation. Also NBTC paid majority of expenses of international participants

Schools / managers ang nagbabayad ng airfare and finders' fee / commission for ELITE prospects sa US based organizations / coaches. They're not doing it out of the kindness of their heart. Yung borderline players, US parents ang nag shoulder ng expenses in hopes that a Philippine school will reimburse them in exchange for commitment.

This happens more than people think. Just look at how stacked Bronny Jr's club and hs teams are. Lots of wealthy (usually former athletes) spend to give their kids a leg up. Even Mikee Romero used to be a player and was actually pretty good.
On the issue of schools spending for prospects travel expenses, that may be true for those that are already identified. But for the prospects that are not discovered by other schools, they usually want those guys to stay hidden and limit their exposure. That's why there are always players who "surprise" the public, but the schools who recruited them are actually savvy.
ang tanong, do we have these tall players available and ready to play? are they good enough to rep the country? i want what you are asking, but are we pinning are hope with those tall kids in FB\tiktok\IG who looks like they are 2 years from being varisty of their respective schools?Gilas U16 plans before flying to Doha, I hope DDO Jr. had plans to upgrade his lineup during the propose training camp otherwise our boys will be abuse to no end with that midget lineup. I ain’t despising anyone on that lineup(they are good kids) but please just being realistic no more 5’5 kid come FIBA U16 tournament proper. We’ve been fed enough of so many soap box stories and moral victories from different platforms so hopefully they would parade a much better lineup.
as I said before, retaining the core of 6’2 Kiefer Alas, 6’1 CJ Amos, 5’11 Irus Chua, 6’4 Edryn Morales and 5’10 Elihjah Williams is highly recommended and surround them with several 6’5 to 6’6 kids who can play the perimeter that’s fair enough considering our 6’8 and above kids that was identified before are still in the infancy period as far as basic basketball skillsets are concern.

We had decent(local) kids in the HS domain who are in 6’4 to 6’5 level that I think are fair enough(not outstanding yet) to play at the U16 level but other than that none.
