That's on the SBP for hiring Joke Reyes.

Still, I'll give the team the benefit of the doubt.

Fuck that Koreans… I hope karma will bite them soon… what’s on fiba why didn’t tell their punishments for their non appearance in pre OQT last month? If they pass on this then Koreans can do anything they want… The Koreans are most dislike international team that I don’t want the most…

PHL currently lapping MAS. Rest day tomorrow. Josh needs to figure out how to beat Korea before their game. So what's the record of the Reyeses vs Korea again? 1 win against 456 losses?

JLGDL hasn't played that much and has only scored a grand total of 4 points the whole tournament. I'm not familiar with his game, Super bunot, secret weapon ba ni Josh ito?

CJ Amos din, Josh decided not to play him vs MAS.

Is Josh really coaching better or does he have better assistant coaches this time?Just like those victories in the U17,someone else calls the plays to him.

Part of it is that he is forced to play 5 out with the team being this small but personally my expectations arent great but hopefully they surprise.

I truly believed he's coaching a little better due to having good assistant coaches that calls the plays.

Is there a chance to qualify for U17WC? and if we do are there players that can be added to increase our team height a little bit? Can Jireh Tumaning and Aries Borja be considered good enough to be included in the lineup?

What happened to that 6'8 Andrew Yap kid? and 6'5 PG Chase Robertson?

We need to beat Korea then Japan.

Doable pero it's Joke Reyes coaching.

Correct.
Winning both games vs Korea & Japan would be a tall order if your coach is like Joke Reyes. Wag na tayong mag expect guys that we'll make it to the semis.

Prepare for a battle for 5th place finish.

I hope Joke Reyes proves me wrong. I will be very happy if he proves me wrong this time.

Suntok sa bwan yan bro.
It's not worthy to talk about.

I personally don't like Josh Reyes, but I will not only point the finger on him if we are not to advance in the tournament... our grassroots and youth development should be in check.. we have to overhaul the age group development..

you know, with all the steph currys, damian lillards, klay thompsons, these NBA megastars that has impecable 3 point shooting prowess, I am dumbfounded that our shooting is miserable.. I mean, sino ba iniidolo ng mga kabataan ngayon? our shooting from the age group to the seniors level has been horrible to say the least..

Most Pinoy kids prolly would rather emulate the likes of Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic, James Harden, et al, for their insane ball-handling prowess, forgetting the fact that the 3 I mentioned are also above-average 3-point shooters in the NBA as well.

Height issues will not be a problem for our boys against thoae two teams.

Aside from Japan, the Korean national team also had almost the same average height as well. Now it will boils down on who had a better game plan come tip-off.

Better ball movement to create better shot selection and somehow improve the Assist Department and hopefully creates a better look for our shooters for a better 3 Pt. Percentage.

Because we are almost the same height ceiling with the Korean kids we might as well dominate the rebounding department with a better defensive game plan.

That’s the key for our Korea game and hopefully with Japan game as well.

For this generation of 16U kids, Russell Westbrook was in his prime when they were 7-10 years old.

Malaysia kept it close against Jordan, here's hoping we actually have a nice chance against BOTH Korea and Japan

Qatar's 6'4 Guard Mohammed Ndao already has 27 points at the half vs India. He scored 24 vs Iran, 32 vs Japan, and 25 vs Saudi in previous games
