not u16 because the kid is playing in the u12 Batang PBA league but anyone has a low down on Samuel Nomso Esomchi?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XwltQLelbk
he comes in at 31:38. you cant miss him, he is the tallest kid in the court wearing white [NODE="2"]Forum[/NODE] if you search him in FB, it looks like an even younger kid. maybe a little brother or himself years ago. he replies to people in tagalog. dont know if he has Filipino blood but he looks like he has been in the country for some time.

A Phil passport will secure this kid for the future.

Mannion did not make the final roster. JJ did. the difference, is not only does JJ need to want to rep PH, USAB needs to release him. Nico, just went to Italy to play for them. JJ cannot do that without a release.

someone can correct me, but thats how i remember that bit of procedure on FIBA allowing a player reppin a different country.

CStand I believe also represented Germany in youth tournament. What's more important now is for the kid to have a Philippine passport. If Mandaquit won't make the senior USA team, he can still be persuaded to rep Gilas.

Just make sure JJ gets a PH passport before 16. Whatever happens afterwards will happen, at least that basic requirement is taken care of.

Happy for the kid though. If he makes it to the nba and does well, that's another player our youth can look up to who is not impossible to emulate compared to someone like Jalen Green or Clarkson.

To put things into perspective, Mannion in high school was wild. He scored 76 pts against Jalen Green's team on a televised game. Dropping 40+ was common for him.

To think that Mandaquit has surpassed him is amazing.

As per Tattoo sports, Jj has secured his Phil passport before turning 16 (dude’s a very reliable source). If true, then at least the kid has a fall back. I think the US would release him should we ask. Of course, not unless Jj develops into a really, really good playmaker.

Idk about JJ surpassing Mannion. We have to consider the composition of the pool, and the respective slot competition they went up against. Maybe if/when Jj makes it to the NBA and actually does better, then yeah.

I get what you mean. Being a Nike boy also helps JJ, while Mannion being in an Under Armour team for sure had some effect. Shades of Hepa (Nike) also making Team USA.

But still, great accomplishment by Mandaquit. The thing that matters though is he just keeps improving, he's already on a great track.

AJ Edu’s younger brothers Toby 15 and Ben 14 are both eligible for U-16 team. Whilst Femi in U18. In the case of Ben he was predicted anthropometrically to grow as tall as 7”0”. Fortunately for Philippines all of them are Philippine passport holders since at very young age.

Hopefully AJ won’t incur further injury otherwise it will affect how his brothers’ views in their basketball paths.

No verification yet if JJ secured Philippine passport.
will see.. it's premature to publicly declare he did.

Furthermore JJ is scheduled to play in d U17 World cup in 2024 for team USA

No verification yet if team USA secured a ticket to 2024 U17 World Cup. will see.. it's premature to publicly declare they did.

Furthermore USA u16 is scheduled to play in d U16 Fiba Americas cup.

classic anal.

we had a tons of 6’0 to 6’3 guys In our bucket lists and all we need now really are kids that are 6’4 and above for present and future entourage, as much as I also want the JJ kid to be part of our next U16 roster for this year’s edition because of what he could bring on the table but realistically we could produce and discover much better talent at that height level locally.

Yes actually classic me for always questioning unverified info and classic Philippine media or social media, for spreading unverified information.
I checked wiith Fil am select and contrary to report being spread , their coaches cannot confirm JJ got passport.
so false information again for nth time , classic. (Remy, JC even Kai, a regular thing of spreading misinformation)

If team USA as expected secures a spot for 2024 U17 WC JJ as member who earned spot is likely to be in team in 2024. So what's it going to be again, hindi pa ineligible puede pa .

Actually, you only needed good reading comprehension to realize that your being the oh so RIGHTEOUS truth crusader is uncalled for. Read what you quoted, there’s this phrase “IF TRUE”, meaning the info was taken with a grain of salt.

Their coaches “cannot confirm” and yet you are concluding things as “false information”. Lol practice what you preach ANAL and stop trying to be a smartass all the time: And what exactly has TATTOO sports got wrong in the past, huh? I’ve seen you guys both and you are far WORSE than him when it comes to info. Next star as a single season thing? NBL play in as a “twice to beat” for upper teams? I could go on and on with the numerous times you had to cop out and flip flop.

I’m not here to pick on you but tone down on being a smartass and trying to portray the role of being an immaculate, infallible truth crusader. Lol

Hello, it's misleading. And it was reported by One sports ( has already a passport ), how's that not misleading, and isn't one sport a legit broadcast outfit ( that covers the SBP and is in fsct associated to the same personal).

Is it OK for you for an outfit to claim a player already has a passport when it hasn't been verified by anyone of authority personally, like who in Fil nation is claiming this ?

how can you compare post comment here like twice to beat being wrong , vs a headline news outfit claiming JJ already has his passport. Ang layo.
the materiality of what it means is so different.
A mistake in a forum of twice to beat over step ladder play in tournament is so different from an outfit or an agent claiming Kai will declare cause we have promises he would.be selected (and outfits reporting on it, without checking the rules or
stating JJ has a passport already by one sport very very different

Now who's post is uncalled for and needs to tone down? Weren't u the guy blaming me for being arrogant for saying Bell and his camp are all lying . About him havig to declare?
I hope your message to the Sotto'a got through of my actions questuoning his handlers

Of course it’s fine with me. I simply have to take the info with a grain of salt. I am not someone who’s trying to be pristine and immaculate like someone we know here in IBN.

Point is, you look hypocritical doing your things here, given your lack of integrity. Why are you frothing your mouth here and not out there in the open, for a larger audience to see? And if the coaches are not disputing the alleged “misinformation”, why are you acting like you know better? Pabida lang? Lol

I wonder what are the respective heights of Toby, Ben & Femi Edu?

I hope Femi Edu is at least 6-foot-7 now & plays as natural small forward.

No correction the coaches of Fil nation have said the report is premature and confirm no one in Fil nation has confirmed he has a passport. Now how's that not misleading and inappropriate journalist reporting. BTW my post here are not of a journalists standard especially on opinions. (This is a forum), NOT a news outlet that has a responsibility for accuracy. And note 1 news is not a column section expressing opinion, but littierally news reporting JJ got a passport already like it was fact

And no one confirms he actually DOES NOT have a Phil passport, just to be clear. So practice what you preach. It’s premature for you to call this a misinformation. Let time prove them wrong.

Misleading not mis information, know the difference. And absolutely it's material, this is Reny and Clarkson 2.0 happening again, where people after 5 years say I thought it was reported he got his passport already. ! This is not trivial at all. FOR a news outlet to confirm he already has a passport , when it hasn't been verified yet , is absolutely unethical tabloid style reporting. You should know better, very different situation as what you're making it to be , they didn't day he might or if he got as a passport, they littierally are claiming he got a passport already, that's absolutely Misleading

Flip flop like you always do. Ayan o, ang linaw. False information and misinformation kamo. Tsk, tsk. Enough of this already.
