Even better, does he have Kai Sotto and AJ Edu this time?

I can’t see Caelum single handedly bailing us out.

No need to panic yet, there is no Padrigao and Fortea in this batch likewise. But our guards and wings better be more productive than those two or we'll have enough reason to really be worried.

i'm curious about bahay, hope he's more jolo mendoza than padrigao in this tournament

LOL Australia is basically the Team USA of FIBA Asia with New Zealand being Canada.

I doubt any Asian team can beat them in the next decade or so.

I don’t think that’s true and I’m Australian.

The senior team is beatable, full strength nz or japan are capable of winning.
U18/U19s next year, 04/05/06 group should win but China should be competitive, nz too, Phillipines possibly if everyone available.
U16/U17s in 2 years, 07/08/09 group, it’s pretty wide open. Australia hasn’t shown alot of great prospects in this age group, womens side a different story.

So excited for this.

Looks like our kids have good chemistry.

Hopefully, he applies in game.

I expect a dominant win for our batang gilas here.

More curious on the system.

I think they will not purely using ddo. Probably will apply some motion offense.

As for defense, it is not a good indicator since Kuwait is not a top team. But lets see

Starters

Bahay
Competente
Bayla
Harris
Mahmood.

Wow, Competente is a legit shooter

The offense looks nice. Moving the ball, a.

Plus, apart from a few miscues, our defense has been holding a bit.

Konov and Porter now in the frontline. Konov seems to be very mobile for a 6'7

The senior team of Australia is beatable? Which one? The one with NBA players or the one they send to lesser tournaments?
