2022 Batang Gilas U16

You are really high on Konov SK.

But yeah, I am really hoping he can be a nice gilas asset as A SF Shooter in the Future.

Especially, if it is true that he is 6'7(is it w/shoes or without?)

Fortunately, Mahmood and Porter are ij Batang Gilas U16. Konov will not be forced to Play center. (Hopefully)

PS: We dont know Konov's origin and Family Background. I mean his Filipino Ties and Connection. Do we?

Based on I am reading and rumors.

Seems like Konov's shooting is legit.

It just a matter of if he can translate it in Fiba International Tournaments

He might even be a combo guard/forward imagine,he can switch to 2,when Gilas wanst a tall ball lineup.

I am not really sure if he actually is 6'7 but based on the clips I saw, he's at least an inch taller than Basti.

Well, Zain Mahmood is said to be at 6'7 barefoot.

Based on the live clips u saw, Alex Konov and Zain Mahmood have same heights?

He live and die with his outside shooting I think.

Idk how good is his slashing and inside game

They can play him as a stretch 4. wish we have a younger version of Gabe Norwood playing in our senior and junior team. Gabe was a very good defender, and team player.
 
I learned from someone that Batang Gilas lost to Ateneo Team B by 33 pts!!

If this is true, BG U16 should wake up and be more serious.

That is only Ateneo Team B. But maybe the system.

If Kai Ballungay and the backup import played that would be a fine score. They have Credo, Kyle Ong, Bongo from team B.
