aside from Pinoy made highlights, all other highlights I saw is the kid doing spot up shots and doing layups because defense left him. because of this, i have 0 expectation aside from he should be money when left open outside. mamaya magexpect tayo, michael hrabak pla peg.

Sir in fairness to Michael Hrabak I think he has a decent work rate during his stay at Shell it’s just that coach Perry M. in fairness to him he is a decent coach but he doesn’t know how to utilize the potential of the dude but when he was traded(?) to Barako Bulls I think coach YG unleash his true potential by not only one of the dreaded snipers from beyond the ark but also become a decent defender eventually even though he doesn’t have a solid dribbling skills to save his life in front of a notorious defender. I think if DDO Jr. knows how to use the full potential of AK23 without exposing to much his flipside and maximizing the floor or space to have a decent look from beyond the ark, I think the kid could become our triggerman for this entourage if only DDO Jr. knows how to play his card well.

nothing against Hrabak per se, but do you remember the hype when he was drafted? noone saw him play at all when he came to the Philippines, tapos 2nd pick. yes, he did improve in other areas but he is still known and relied upon as a spot up shooter as oppose to when people where saying we he got drafted. that he will be a corner stone of a team that drafts him. he has usable skill that we all appreciated, but he was hyped too much during the draft.

Yup I totally agree on that..in fact one of my grandpa being a diehard Elvis P. fanboy gushed one time if he is the son of the late King of Rock n' Roll..hehehehe... anyway I hope AK23 has more to offer other than his Splash moves.

Lol yeah i do recall this one ala-Sonny Alvarado dw 6'7 can play 1 to 5 positions
Nevertheless he was serviceable, bit on the soft side like a Mark Telan or Aldrich Ramos but had good
timing as a shotblocker (weakside)

Perry Ronquillo: "you don’t teach height", on drafting Mike Hrabak.

Here we go.

Not Full though

I like that they are playing some sort of 5 Out

In terms of dislike.

Based on that clip, the kids kinda lack outside shooting. They have 4 good looks outside shots. Most Bricked.

But I like that they are playing 5 Out. Caelum and Mahmood actually getting the ball Outside. And Can be playmakets.

I love that one play where Caelum is in the Wing and then passed it to Bayla for a Cutting Turnaround Midrange Jumper

Free scouting for opponents

Batang gilas vs TNT tune up game

As usual typical Do or Die Offense no pick n roll/pick n slide play just lots of dribble all you want, lots of one on one, just a few assist and lots of come what may shot…oh well goodluck to the boys, landing a podium finish is a long shot, landing a top five finish is obviously slimmer.

Based on Enzo Flojo ig story.

Looks like Batang Gilas U16 beat phenomchampinship clinic 78-76 in their tuneup game.

Some of phenom players are: Prince Alao, Josh Cajucom, Jesse Arciaga, and Jethro Reyes. (Kevin Quiambao didnt play). Tbh, I am not familar with most of them. Lol.

But good moral victory and win for our Batang Gilas

Lol.

Enzo Flojo respond to one fan saying "DDO hanggang mamatay" by saying "It is not DDO guys, we actually using one of plays ctb uses. Motion strong/weak"

I will judge it in the tournament proper. Haha.

Hopefully, they apply Coach Tab's defense though. Coach Tab's offense is not really that amazing, it is his defense which is amazing

Seven Gagate played. Heard he's already 6'9

Get the message to them. Hahahahahahaha.

But seriously, Enzo should adopt Tab's defense here. And maybe a bit of Goldwin's too. Hope that that will be the start and foundation of a defensive-minded team starting from the youth level.

Is the strength of this group in the wing position (tall wings?), im not too familiar

Gagate is in the phenom team, not in U16. Probably an U18 prospect. Idk who will play on U18, some U16 players can play there too of good enough.

But for U16, yes. I think Wings are the strength of the team.
