the intrigue with upside of Sochan is actually playmaking and his defensive versatility ( 1 to 5) , kawhi is mostly a wing stopper

Offense
High-level processor as a passer despite not picking up many assists, shared a lot of touches with a stacked Baylor roster, but can pass with either hand in transition or the half-court. Head coach Scott Drew used Sochan as a point guard a few times, and he could play small-ball five in the proper context.Strong ball-handler with great fluidity for a player his size. He can put it on the floor against smaller players and bully them to the rim. Sochan also has the ability to blow by traditional bigs.

Defense
Ridiculous positional versatility. Sochan has the motor, size, strength, foot speed, and elite lateral mobility to potentially switch 1-5 in the NBA

I think switchability and dynamic skills are there. But I dont think Sochan will be a lockdown defender. And I think he is more of a PF than a C. If the Spurs trade Poetl to better tank I think Isaac Roby will play more C. The same height and switchability on D but with a 7'3 wingspan. And this guy was a 2nd rounder btw.

I actually like guys like Lofton, Zion, Barkley. Undersized bigs but very strong and skilled. One thing I thought was interesting was that Lofton actually played as a pg in his youth before his growth spurt. Would explain why he’s so skilled.

Realistically, if he can’t develop a 3, I don’t see him lasting in the league.

Lofton's had 2 3s in the game vs Thunder. I think he already has it. After all, his role in college was to be a bruiser down low, that's not many opportunities for him to shoot 3s.

Lakers to retire Pau Gasol's jersey ,finally he got the recognition that he deserves, wtill bitter about his 75 greatest player snub while dame lillard and AD got in! ( Pau, Manu and Parker should have been part of that list

Hopefully. They signed him.

Been harping about Simone Fontecchio being an NBA level talent, and now it has come into fruition. The 6’ 8” Italian small forward was signed by the Utah Jazz to a 2 year $6.25M contract. Not bad for a virtual unknown.

This is another player that our taller small forwards can emulate as a no nonsense, do it all player that get things done via solid fundamentals and very little fancy.

Throwback to the Bulls GOAT Big 3

Oh, yes. The dark ages of the GarPax period, where only Zach turned out good from the players they got after the Jimmy trade.

Wendell Carter Jr. did show some promise, though, as did Lauri Markkannen. Sucks that Chicago didn't work out for them.
