2022-2023 NBA Season

"20th season LeBron is averaging 30 ppg, 8 rpg, and 7 apg, It won't surprise me if a young LeBron average 36-42 ppg in the current NBA with freedom of NBA movement, and knowledge of 3 points shooting" LeBron improved his 3 points shooting after the Warriors started the trend"

For Spurs I would have traded Jakob Poeltl for Lauri Markkanen when they had a chance. The latter is the type of big you want for today's NBA

You should have taken him instead of Thad when we made the trade for DeRozan. Hahahahahahaha.

Congratulations to king lebron james for being only the second player in nba history to achieve 38,000 career regular season points.

With 2023 rolling in , just like last year, expect alot of mocks.

Been following Mojave King rise ( 46 here)
He's technically from New Zealand, (has NZ passport not Australian), his last pro team before arriving in Ignite was NZ NBL, born in NZ and parents originally from NZ, I won't be surprise if Mojave represents NZ in the world cup.

first rookie to have 20 20 game since 2014

You know who was the last rook to get a 20 20? Gorgui Dieng. The guy had monstrous games as a rook. But he didnt have the same fire in his 2nd year and became worse. He simply didnt have the rebounding prowess and aggression in the paint anymore. He suddenly settled for outside shots that werent accurate. What happened between his 1st year and 2nd year? The world cup and an RDO "inadvertent" head butt. Before that game he was also a monster in the World cup. He was doing decently against PH but after the headbutt was tentative allowing JMF to score inside. Before we admire RDOs dirty tricks let us remember that his headbutt, intentional or not, possibly broke a once promising NBA career.

Lakers won the trade getting hachimura.

Definitely, LeGm needs a knockdown shooter that can defend, at 6'8 Rui is a versatile defender that can play alongside him and AD. He is young and can be molded to a solid player, something the Lakers can add to the rebuilding process once LeGm retires (or moves on to another team)

Rui is due for extension starting at 19m after this season. without any 1st round draft picks for the next 5years, they will most likely sign him. this is a win for the Lakers because the owner is ok to foot the bill. if this was any one but LA or GSW, its actually a bad trade.

We'll just have to wait and see to determine who really won the trade. Though they were able to acquire Rui for cheap I read that he wants more minutes and greater role in the offense when he's already ave 24 mins per game and I'm not really sure where he's going to get those shots.. and with his expiring contract they better lock him down soon and avoid unnecessary drama. Also how good is in terms of shooting and defense? Cause those were 2 of his biggest weaknesses on his scouting report..

This could either be a good idea or flop bigtime since the all stars will have no time to practice plays and would just go ISO ball the entire game, though nba all star games are already like that
