I don't think he will have enough playing time this coming season...

They will need his offense. I'm not sure if Heat will keep Duncan Robinson (though imo they should get rid of Tyler Herro).

Maybe...but with that line up I don't think he will average above 10 pts.

Meet Point Forward Jeremy Sochan - (yes , he will be playing alot of PG like Simmons . (Reason why I think DJ was allowed to leave)

Offense
High-level processor as a passer despite not picking up many assists, shared a lot of touches with a stacked Baylor roster, but can pass with either hand in transition or the half-court. Head coach Scott Drew used Sochan as a point guard a few times, and he could play small-ball five in the proper context.Strong ball-handler with great fluidity for a player his size. He can put it on the floor against smaller players and bully them to the rim. Sochan also has the ability to blow by traditional bigs.

Defense
Ridiculous positional versatility. Sochan has the motor, size, strength, foot speed, and elite lateral mobility to potentially switch 1-5 in the NBA, which makes him insanely scheme versatile and immensely more valuable than a traditional drop coverage big man. I could see him earning an All-Defense nomination in the future

At the end of the season, this is my Spurs projected 5 .

Primo
Vassel
Malaki / Josh Richardson
Sochan
Collins

Bench
Jones
Richardson
Keldon
Roby
Jakob

Don't be suprise if they make playoffs as a defensive oriented team.

What about Doug “McBuckets” McDermott?

Undrafted Lofton Jr. bullying this year's 2nd overall draft pick... How did Lofton get undrafted?

Well in order not to incite feelings around here, let's just say some of us saw this coming...that's all I'm going to say.

Kenny Lofton Jr. just ate Chet's lunch for today. Gah damn. Chet was so gassed in the 3rd it was kinda embarrassing.
P.S: Funny how the narrative changes overnight in the Soc med. From being dubbed a unique future star to a work in progresss

Undrafted Lofton had better stats than Chet in U19 FIBA (same team)

Last pick Besson (58th) had almost double the average points of 11th pick Dieng in the same Breakers team.

What does that tell you? It's not like this was unexpected.
Yet despite all of that Chet and Dieng draft picks are really really good decisions! Is this still hard to process and understand?

Can’t shoot and defense sucks. Also lacks the agility\mobility.

Seems like the Grizzlies know how to spot game regardless of metrics...Lofton can easily lose 50 lbs with NBA nutritionists and become a Draymond-esque type of player with more shooting, especially in today's small ball switch-happy NBA.

I'm excited for Lofton Jr. He's not gonna be a star but he'll be around for a long while. Props to him.
