Puerto Rican team was led by 6-4 guard Jermaine Miranda, who averaged 22.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.3 steals per game in the tournament, including 28 points and 12 boards in the final.

Costa Rica took fifth place, beating Guyana (115-24) and Trinidad (90-68) in the classification games.
