Since Rose is out, All-Star starter for the point guard is wide open. Currently, Deron Williams, Kyrie Irving and John Wall have their teams on losing records. Rajon Rondo still has no timetable.

Currently, Stephen Curry has moved past the injured Chris Paul for one of the starting spot in the west following the third returns of the ballot.

Starters were announced:

Eastern Conference

Carmelo Anthony, New York
Paul George, Indiana
Dwyane Wade, Miami
Kyrie Irving, Cleveland
LeBron James, Miami

Head coach: Frank Vogel, Indiana

Western Conference

Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers
Stephen Curry, Golden State
Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City
Blake Griffin, L.A. Clippers
Kevin Love, Minnesota

Head coach TBA

OKC Thunder head coach Scott Brooks will coach the western squad.

Well if I'm not mistaken, D-12 was number four in the frontcourt votes so you were close :)
I'm sad that they didn't choose Dragic as a replacement, or Miles for sophomores. I expected that at least one of them would get the call. Lillard shouldn't be in front of Dragic, especially not after how he is performing after Bledsoe is out.
Hope that commissioner will call him as a replacement for injured players. If CP doesn't play a game before the All Star weekend or just goes in for a small number of minutes with no real value I will not be pleased.

Same here. Dragic I feel is more deserving to be called up for the west squad as a potential injury replacement than my Demarcus Cousins as our team stands at the bottom. Easy to put, media is wrong in calling Cousins a snub for this one. Dragic is the biggest snub in the western guards.

Maybe we'll see Dragic in the skills challenge, but that is still injustice.

Seth Curry is getting recognition much like his brother in GSW. Happy for Malcolm Thomas, I saw him play two seasons ago in the Korean Basketball League. Since then he has been a D-League standout and a former Spurs call up.

CBS is reporting that Damian Lillard, Paul George and John Wall are in the dunk contest.

Three Points Shootout Participants:

Joe Johnson (Nets)
Brad Beal (Wizards)
Arron Afflalo (Magic)
Kyrie Irving (Cavaliers)
Kevin Love (Timberwolves)
Stephen Curry (Warriors)
Marco Belinelli (Spurs)
Damian Lillard (Trailblazers)

Slam Dunk Contest Participants:

Paul George (Pacers)
Terrence Ross (Raptors)
John Wall (Wizards)
Harrison Barnes (Warriors)
Damian Lillard (Trailblazers)
Ben McLemore (Kings)

Skills Challenge:

Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks)
Michael Carter-Williams (Sixers)
Victor Oladipo (Magic)
DeMar DeRozan (Raptors)
Damian Lillard (Trailblazers)
Trey Burke (Jazz)
Reggie Jackson (Thunder)
Goran Dragic (Suns)

Well now, Lillard will certainly be busy in the all-star event. Rather exhausting if you ask me. I'm rooting for Antetokounmpo and Dragic to win the skills challenge.
