Chinese Men's player pool: http://www.ycen.com.cn/xwzx/ty/201401/t20140128_31856.html

Zhou Qi, Xinjiang's incoming rookie for next season's CBA is leading the team. He is also in the senior national team's pool. Players from China's U17 national team from last year's world competition seems complete.

Philippines Men's player pool: http://www.spin.ph/sports/basketbal...pine-team-to-fiba-asia-under-18-championships

Team is bannered by Thirdy Ravena, an amazing all around guard that piloted the Philippines to the 3X3 U18 competition and really impressed in the 3X3 worlds.

A large 40 player pool for Japan. As expected the names from the 2013 All HS Winter Cup are there. Brit-American / Japanese Alex Lindow is a 6'4 forward / guard who also models for printed ads. Ry Meadows is a Canadian / Japanese guard. Tallest is Suteiruta Araki at 198cm.

Oh man. The Winter Cup?

So I guess Seijuro Akashi, Midorima, Kise Ryota, Aomine Daiki, Murasakibara, Kuroko Tetsuya and Kagami Taiga are with the team right? Are they considering Himuro and Hyuga Junpei? I heard Kiyoshi Teppei's injured...

Jokes aside, William Navarro, a member of the junior Panathanaikos squad, is trying out for the U18 team

Kuroko No Basket was loosely based on the annual All Japan tournament for HS that dates back to the 1920s. Based on the anime, Mesei Highschool is the only school that has a real counterpart in real life. But in the anime, Mesei was depicted as a medium tier team, but in reality, Mesei is a juggernaut these days.

South Korea will announce its pool in April. Since the U16 team did not qualify for the 2014 U17 worlds, Korea can add players like Kwon Hyuk-Joon, Park Sang-Won, Yang Jae-Hyuk, Choi Jae-Hwa, Park Min-Uk, Moon Sanggok and Han Seung-Hee with bigger players like Masango HS Park Jong-Hyun, a 206cm center.

Joint training camp held for Japan's U18 national team with the U15 and U17 pool. Based on the reports, Japan's U18 and U17 pool will continuously train together to determine the best composition for each respectively. This means standouts like Rui Hachimura, Hayato Maki among others, could join the U18 team instead of the U17 team in concept.

thanks for keeping this thread up to date CKR13... you're awesome.

Coach Britt Reroma former USC Warriors(CESAFI) and former San Beda Red Cubs(NCAA) is now conducting training and selection for the Indonesian U18 Team for the upcomming SEABA U18 Championship in Malaysia.

South Korea's U18 team revealed:

Kim Yoon-Hwan 178cm
Jang Tae-Bin 184cm
Kwon Hyuk-Jun 175cm
Yoo Hyun-Jun 180cm
Park Jun-Young 195cm
Jeon Hyun-Woo 195cm
Byun Jun-Hyong 187cm
Yang Jae-Hyok 193cm
Park Won-Jong 193cm
Kim Kyun-Wong 199cm
Song Kyo-Chang 200cm
Lee Youn-Su 205cm

Ulsan Mouryong HS coach Kim Seung-Hwan was named head coach. Masango's Park Jong-Hyun (206cm) was initially in the player pool but begged off due to academic commitments although there is still a chance that Park could join and compete for a spot.

Taiwan's U18 team is currently in Manila to train. 14 players were selected lead by Zeng Boyu, an exciting prospect / all-star from the HBL. Sun Yong-Chen was a member of last year's U16 team while Po Hung-Chen was a member of the 2012 U18 team despite being 15 at that time. Tallest player is Sun Siyao at 200cm.

Focus Athletics is world class http://www.focusathletics.com.ph/ facility and it is deemed cost effective by the committee. Instead of flying to Las Vegas, they will save time and money in Manila.

This will be good for rehab and conditioning. Most of the U18 players are fresh from the HBL and National Star HS Cup. Currently, there are no scientific training facilities in Taiwan.

As for scrimmages, there is the Hualian Invitational next month that the U18 team will play against HS teams from Korea, Japan, Hong-Kong and Guam.

Head coach Lin Yu of Taiwan U18 announced on twitter that they will play the Philippines U17 team that is bound for the world U17 championships, this Wednesday and Thursday. Venue will be in Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Just for memo, this year's tournament will qualify the top-3 teams for the 2015 U19 WC.
