The thing is now it becomes tougher to predict games and you have less margin of error... I can still afford to take 1 or 2 risks regarding the result but if someone else predicts the exact point differential for 2 games then i'm screwed 
I wish we could add the volleyball and water polo semifinals so that we have more of a chance to catch up to Khalid...

I wouldn't mind that if you want... I watched some of those quarterfinal matches in volleyball and there were some huge upsets in both the men's and women's competitions... Like the US (1st place in their group) lost to Italy (4th in the other group) in the men's event..In the women's event quarterfinals Russia (1st place in their group) lost to Brazil (4th in the other group)..
As for water polo I just watched 2 games that Greece played in but other than that I haven't followed the sport much
i agree with one of the posters above let's put in random sports so we'd have a better chance at getting back at Khalid
i pick Canoe Slalom because i don't know jackshit about it.

I thought about making points worth double, but deemed it too blatant (and Khalid might make it worse anyway
It's a plausible idea but you would have had to mention it before the prediction game started as I wouldn't have afforded to take some big risks like making a prediction that Brazil wold beat Argentina which never happened
