I wasn't kidding when I said I loved it.

I like it, too. They did it in Greece also, but I'm not sure if you need to do it when you get the greek nationality or what.

I remember that Gurovic was also called "Malatras" because that was his greek name (from "Milan", I guess) and I loved it.

but as i said there are few people like that
big percent of Greeks are respectful funny, sarcastic, no inhibited, no fanatic and gladly to help other people

what?Most foreign names are written as they are AFAIK.
Maybe Malatras came from Malakas.
 
In Gurovic's case that's the more obvious explanation imo.

I know what that means and it definitely fits. But wikipedia says the following:

"In order to get the citizenship, in the eyes of Greek administration he had to "change" his last name and thus competed under the name Milan Malatras while in Greece."

After that he had problems with Greece because he didn't want to make the military service.
