So did the Ivorian player do this more than one time?

Has he done it again in the past?

So if the Brazilian guy started shouting at him at the 3rd time he had done it, should the Ivorian make a "no look punch"?

Oh, I know, the Ivorian player was pissed at the Brazilian refs...

Come on, get serious...

Are you guys for real? He stepped on the guys head FFS, with full force, and watch Marcelinho, how level headed he is. Fotsis could never be that calm after an indecent like that. Stop making fawking excuses for him, his reaction was just as bad as Teodosic's hit FFS, get that into your green sculls.

It doesn't matter what the hell happened in the past, what was done was done, if you are not an idiot you react to provocations like Marcelinho and if you are an Idiot well then you react like Fotsis. Ofcourse it takes two idiots to tango, and in the Greece Serbia game there were, in Brasil game there was only one...

Get the difference?

And i don't care what the Ivoronian guy should have done or could have done or would have done if the Brasilian started shouting at him, grabing him and pushing. The whole point is that Marcelinho wasn't stupid enough to fall for the provocations, which btw was a whole lot worse then the hit in the balls that Teodosic did. And it is clear IMO that the step on the head was totally intentional.

This looked unintentional (still very careless and dangerous) and the Ivorian player apologized afterwards.

It looked pretty intentional to me. I just can't get to see if he looks down first, but he has time and space enough to avoid Machado. Anyway, IMO, if you step on something you didn't expect, you look down to see what it is or maybe trip or fall, but this guy just step on someone's head and keeps looking forward as if nothing has happened. He doesn't even ask the guy if he is OK. He apologizes, ok, but only when he can't pretend that he didn't do anything. I would totally suspend him.

Oh come on mate. We do the same in front of the queen's guards. :D

I have a bad feeling about tomorrow's game.
Perhaps if FIBA announce the punishments before the game starts then our players might get to the game a bit cold.

I hope that we will be competitive :D

don't worry - Kazla knows how to play those USA teams full of NBA stars:cool:Remember Sydney in 2000, when lithuanian team was a three pointer and some atrocious late game calls away from beating the so called "Dream Team" for the first time:D Kazla knows his stuff, unless he decides to tank the game and hide all of his tactics of course...
