2010 Japanese NT

No Taishi Ito

Taishi Ito is not really that impressive for the National Team; but he could be playing in the BJ-League next year after he graduates from Portland. Kodai Kimura and Ryo Tawatari has more upside.

Japan 78 Qatar 76 Overtime

Takuya Kawamura had 18 points while Kosuke Takeuchi had 12 points and 20 rebounds.

Tanguy Ngombo had 31 points and 11 rebounds despite the lost.

If it wasnt for the naturalized Tanguy Ngombo, it would have been a blowout.

31 out of 76. 40 % of Qatar points was scored by a naturalized player.

Most of the Qatar NT players are naturalized Qataris. Lol. :D

Japan finished second on the FIBA Asia Stankovic Cup 2010 after a loss to Lebanon, 97-59.

This team can get better

Let's hope that Yuta Tabuse and Yuki Mitsuhara will be healthy to re-join the team in practice.

Ito will play in the JBL this coming season, for Toyota Alvark.

So far, Yuta Tabuse have yet to rejoin the team in practice sessions.

The Japanese National Team is composed of JBL Players but guard Takumi Ishizaki has bolted out of Toshiba Brave Thunders (JBL) and signed with Shimane Susanoo Magic (BJ-League).

Now the BJ-League has a representative on the National Team. ;)
