yeah baby,we're back in the game,55-51 and 5 minutes to go.

Just 4 point boys,do ittttttttttttttt!!!!

Iran is playing well in the 4th quarter but taiwan still leads by 4 with 3 mins remaining.

Chinese Taipei Wins. What a great win by taiwan they qualifed in the FIBA U19 Words Championship and they avenge there loss against Iran in the First round. Congratulation to Chinese Taipei they deserved it.

our players woke up too late :( 4th place is disappointment for Iran , and the first non medal finish since 2006 ... :(

Taiwan score 64-57 Looks like Taiwan will win this one.

I think so too! It's only seconds remaining and Taiwan is still holds a two possession lead. What I noticed most is that Iran has given up a lot of free throws to the Taiwanese. The Taiwanese attempted on the line 36 times, while Iran only attempted 10. Yes, Iran shot the ball on the line at 60%, but that's just 6 points, while Taiwan made 20 -- a 14 point spread.

Iran also didn't took advantage of their rebounding edge which was highlighted by a 25-8 offensive rebounding advantage. In addition, Iran only took 16 points off from those offensive boards.

Those are the two key points I noticed in the game that made the difference. Looking back at the free throws made of Taiwan and the second chance points by Iran, Chinese-Taipei wins by four points (20 from free throws).

Overall, I think both teams did well, with Chinese-Taipei overachieving a bit. Iran, on the other hand, lost some tough games, but they lost to really good teams. I, on the other hand, is quite happy since Taiwan and China, the two teams that beat the Philippines, are going to the World U-19 Championships.

;)

That's ok. Things of that nature happens. I am also disappointed that our under-18 team failed to make it in the semis, but we have to understand that we lost to good teams.

The good thing about it are the lessons these kids are going to take. Winning is great, but learning to deal with debacles are easier to pin point what are the improvements needed to be successful. C'mon, Iran had endured this type of frustrations before they become very successful.

Wow! I just got out of my seat to grab a bite and all of a sudden the lead ballooned to 15 after a close first quarter. I could be China's jinx... hehehe...

Hardy, is my math correct now? LOL...
