Delfino's is a very strange case. Vaccaro has said yesterday that himself and Hernandez called him and e-mailed him several times over these past months, but Delfino never answered. Vaccaro also said that Hernandez waited for Carlos three hours in the lobby of the hotel the Pistons were staying in, and the playere never showed up. And that they talked to his agent, who confirmed Delfino will play in Vegas.

It's hard to pick what to believe.
HAHAHA, Delfino is a liar

@alermac

Can you say me more about Maximiliano Stojic from Pavia? I watched Pavia-Pesaro today and he had a very good game. I think he is from Argentina but has croatian roots.

I think you mean Maximiliano Stanic. He's a pretty much basic PG: defense, pass-first mentality and decent shooting. Nothing special about him, but he's fine.

He played in Argentina from 1997 to 2003 (Pico FC, Ferro, Boca Jrs) and lost one Finals with Boca (2003). And I think he's never played for any NT in any category.

If I'm not wrong Brazil won't have Nene and Leandrinho either, and like some journalist said that might be as bad for them as Ginobili, Oberto, Nocioni and Herrmann absenses are for Argentina

This absenses for Brasil make more opportunities to other teams in the group B

Andres Pelussi announced today that he won't join the Argentinian NT for the next PanAmerican games due to a injury in his foot

Nene and Leandrinho already said they want to play for Brazil in Las Vegas. Nene decided to return after four years of absence. http://www.fiba.com/pages/eng/fc/news/lateNews/byNF/p/newsid/20056/arti.html
Leandrinho is injured but he is expected to be healthy before the start of the tournament.

Marcus Vinicius(SF 2,07) of the N.O Hornets also decided to play for the brazilian team this year. Valtinho Apolinário (1,90 PG), who is the best brazilian point guard, accepted to play for Brazil after Nene asked him to return with him.

Rafael Araújo (2,11 C) is in the USA trying to sign a contract and stay in the NBA. But he said he wants to play in Las Vegas too.

J.P Baptista (2,06 PF-C) is going to play for the brazilian team for the first time in his career. He played for Gonzaga(NCAA) last year and he plays now for the Lietuvos Rytas (Lithuania)

This is probably the first time in many years that the brazilian team will have all the players at the same time.

Here is the roster

PG

Valter Apolinário - 1,90
Marcelo Huertas - 1,91
Nezinho dos Santos - 1,87

SG

Leandro Barbosa - 1,93
Alex Garcia - 1,93

Jonathan dos Santos - 1,98

SF

Guilherme Giovanonni - 2,03
Marcus Vínícius - 2,07
Marcus Vinicius Toledo - 2,02
Guilherme Teichmann - 2,04

PF-C

J.P Baptista - 2,06
Murilo Rosa - 2,10
Rafael Hetsheimmer - 2,08
Caio Torres - 2,11
Paulo Prestes - 2,08
Anderson Varejão - 2,09
Nenê - 2,11
Rafael Araújo - 2,11
Tiago Splitter - 2,11
