I'd like to see Abando & Oftana in this team. Hope we can have Schonny Winston in this team too. I'm curious how he will fare in Asian basketball. Winston is still young & the most important thing is, he is FIBA eligible.

With no training and chemistry, an All-Star Team of ineligibles will still fail to medal.

Now is the perfect time to win this thing

Kai 7'1 doubtful but at the right price Lol
Edu 6'9
JF 6'10
M.Philipps 6'7
B.Rosser 6'7
Brownlee 6'6
Malonzo 6'5
Lopez 6'4
Ramos 6'4
Parks 6'3
M.Williams 6'2
Winston 6'1

If Kai can't make it has to be Kouame, instead of Brownlee,he's barely on top in the SEA GAMES,they need size more, and why is EDU 6'9,he like 6'11 and Kai is 7'216 according to Japan Bleague without shoes on,it would be a towering team if they have Kai,,Edu,Kouame,Blalti,Tamayo on the front.

asiad is like end of september-early october right? that's right about the start of the b-league & kbl season, dunno if any of the b-leaguers would be able to join

Edu is smaller than Kouame who is about 6'11, AJ is closer to Japeth in terms of size based on the pics and videos where AJ,Jap & JF were in training in Lithuania. As for Kai I dont think he is taller than Zhou Qi who he played against in NBL

Well, knowing how "usad-pagong" our beloved pipol at SBP are, I bet after this 2023 World Cup, it will take them some time before they get their acts together on forming a team for the Asian Games. Maybe the team will be formed around 10 days before the start of the basketball competition in the Asiad. Tapos sasabihin ng mga taga-SBP, "We were too busy with our hosting of & participation in the 2023 World Cup". Classic alibi to justify incompetence.

I hope I'm wrong.

Ange or Kouame. Hahahahahahahaha.

But yeah, this management really sucks at planning outside of this WC. And the management putting too much focus on the PBA when most effective international PBA players are aging isn't conducive to the growth of the team.

Yeah, I think SBP will just send the best PBA players, since they're not creative.

Based on the game Edu is slightly taller than Japeth and its listed somewhere that he grew taller than his billed height of 6'10 since U16.Kai was measure at 7'216 by the Japanese Bleague on his stocking feet for their physical,so his height stayed the same since he was 17,which means pretty normal growth for his stature.

Asian games mens basketball groupings is set… 16 teams will play for the Asian supremacy… w/ Australia and NZL out… this is the only tournament where the true beat of the best Asian teams collide…

Gilas will be group alongside Jordan, Bahrain and Thailand… the biggest competition there will be Jordan, likely will be led by Rondae Hollis Jefferson… a rematch between Brownlee and RHJ will be see here.. and gilas will avenge their defeat last February, when they lose just only a 1 pt lead… meanwhile Bahrain and Thailand are improving teams… especially Bahrain, who made their remarkable improvement last Olympic pre OQT after swept all 5 games to qualify for main OQT next year… Thailand also improve after recruiting some Thai-ams in their program…

2 weeks prep for japan guys ? and you really need to name them in the lineup for them to be let go..

based on the Spin.PH video yesterday, Homer Sayson said Thirdy's contract specifically states if he isnt part of the final 12 of WC, he needs to go back to Japan. i dont know if thats on all the Pinoy b league players (obviously not Parks) but i would think something similar is in place same goes for the KBL players. so planning next months team with them as a lock would be very very be unwise. if someone is allowed, that should be considered as bonus. besides, PBA moved their calendar this year to accommodate WC and the Asian games. time to shine.
