Interesting game today: Iran vs. Saudi Arabia.

Either team will be our opponent in the quarterfinals. I think coach Tim Cone would be closely watching this game.

Nah! Its just 1 extra game if we finish 2nd in Group C & it's against a light opponent, either Qatar or Indonesia. In fact I see Gilas benefiting from that 1 extra game as it could further improve the team's chemistry & assimilation with the triangle offense, especially among the 5 late replacements - Ross, Lassiter, Tolentino, Perez, Alas.

Key players like Brownlee, Junmar, Kouame, Perez should just be given limited playing in that extra 1 game - qualification to the quarterfinals game.

Id rather have the light qf matchup akin lang ah (Saudi), iran will tire you

For me, swerte na rin tayo that if we place either No. 1 or No. 2 in Group C, we won't be facing China or Korea in the quarterfinals. Its a big break for Gilas. On the other hand, it's going to be tough for teams like Taiwan & Japan in the quarters, most probably.

this team needs to pick their spots and people will clamor if kouame is really 3rd 5 on tims rotation..

Honestly, I'm questioning why Ange isn't inserted earlier. Played better than Japeth last time.

Me too. Clearly he is our best all around big. our defense hurt big time when Junmar is in.

whatever happens i don't want to hear anymore of that "brownlee is better than clarkson nonsense" and yes no one can defend tyler lamb

people counted their chickens before they even hatched, the nerve to look beyond jordan when gilas can't even shake off thailand

tyler lamb >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> brownlee

rhj is smiling somewhere

I notice that Gilas players never bank their shots in their lay-ups.

Too many missed lay-ups out there.

No worries about Jordan game, its just that Im worried on the old legs of our team..let jordan take care of other contenders

Gilas and coaching staff will adjust. A lot of makable shot just miss. Our defense is a little bit one step behind that is my concern

Our youngest player turns 26 in December. We have 4 players under 30 (one of whom turns 30 in November). That's an indicator of the team's age.

so two of the supposed best defenders in the pba, mvp scottie thompson and chris ross are being taken to school by tyler lamb

pang pinas lang talaga

that "we will win vs thailand easy" got old fast

He should start next game, I think. Improves our defense big-time, and we don't sacrifice that much on offense.

Most of ginebra fans and vloggers hyping that JB should be in WC than JC because of chemistry… I understand the chemistry thing and the reason KSA improving.. but you still need talent to upgrade the roster… JC still getting his numbers even he was harass in last WC… but JB can’t still score even he was just single coverage by Thai defenders
