Yes. Ange's the MVP so far. Hopefully we win it.

i hope he can get the exemption , as much as i want him to play locally i think if he play outside his offensive game will improve a lot as he will face a better competition and he already has a touch from the outside

This team deserve HEROES WELCOME.... This is my happiest day in my existence... Next target: 2028 LA Olympics qualification and 2025 FIBA Asia GOLD medal

If this isn’t proof enough about how bad Chot was for this country I don’t know what is.

I’ll say it again: Chot is (was) the worst thing that’s ever happened to Philippine basketball.

wow i never thought ill see the philippines win gold for the asiad in my lifetime. Congrats, wow long hair delivered

Kouame and Newsome are the x factor in this game both played excellent defense and help Brownlee in offense

its meant to be for us, having that harder bracket in ko stage helped us to prepare in this game

It is destined for us. And this run started from the controversial 37-man list.

The magic of SMC and Long Hair. Wow. Happy to have been proven wrong. Finally another epic performance a decade after 2013.

So they each get 2M from the government? Maybe 5M each from SMC?

If only MVP stepped down way earlier... LOL

Congratulations Pilipinas!

Aguilar: God given height and athleticism with a brain of a gold fish

Congrats gilas for the asian games gold.

We kinda bounced back from that disaster Sea Games lost last year in and against Indonesia.

We won Sea Games and Asia Games this year right?

We kinda still lost in Fiba World Cup though. But that is expected due to level of competition.

Where are the Kouame naysayers now? I just hope that Kouame becomes healthier and becomes consistent. If this doesn't clinch that Euro contract I don't know what will.

Congrats to all involved in this Gilas. Been waiting to see this happen in my lifetime

Yeah, Boss changed my mind. Still have a few questions, but credit to SMC and Boss for helping prepare this team.

What a surreal moment after the tough losses in 1998, 2002, 2014, and 2018. Is this win sweeter than 2013 against Korea? I think so. Anyways, it's a good time to be a Filipino basketball fan. Congratulations to Gilas.
